Plus a boat load of handhelds.
lundy86_4
:o there sure been lots of consoles released
Here they are
Various PCs through those systems too. Next up: 3DS, Xbox 360, "gaming" PC, and GPX 2x Wiz/Caanoo
Atari 800xl
Sinclair Spectrum
Sega Master System
Amiga 500
PC - I've had 6-7 PCs and laptops if you include replacing processor, ram etc. over the last 15 years.
Acorn Electron (bought for £10 from a junk shop, about 10 years after my parents nearly bought me one new!)
Sega Dreamcast
PS2
Gameboy Advance
Wii
DS Lite
Right now I only have my laptop as I sold my Wii and DS to go travelling. Will get a 3DS as soon as it launches as my next pure gaming system, although if it doesn't come out in Europe before spring I might be tempted to get a Wii or even a cheap PS2 with a ton of games while I'm waiting.

Nintendo Entertainment System (Yobo FC3 Plus*)
Super Nintendo Entertainment System (Yobo FC3 Plus*)
Nintendo 64
Nintendo Wii (used as Gamecube primarily)
Nintendo Gameboy
Nintendo Super Gameboy
Nintendo DS Lite
Sony Playstation
Sony Playstation 2 Slim
Sony Playstation Portable Slim (PSP-2000)
Microsoft Xbox 360
Sega Master System (Yobo FC3 Plus*)
Sega Genesis (Yobo FC3 Plus*)
Sega Saturn
Sega Dreamcast
Windows-based Desktop (2.5 GHz Celeron, 2x 512MB DDR-333 RAM, integrated GPU)
--
Systems I want:
Microsoft Xbox (because the 360 doesn't have perfect BC)
Nintendo Gamecube (with GBA player)
Sony Playstation 3 Slim 120GB
Pentium 4 @ 3.0 GHz, 2x 1GB DDR-333 RAM, AGP ATI x1950 Pro 512MB
--
*Note: The Yobo FC3 Plus is a combination system created to emulate the hardware of the original consoles, that is built into a single system. It is far more convenient to have four systems in one. Plus, its cheaper than tracking down working vintage ones. It plays all carts perfectly (from my experience at least).

Also, look at how the "Nintendo hater" has more Nintendo consoles than anything else. He even has more Sega than Sony.

Soon to have a 360 and a PC gaming rig.
If I can remember the exact order I got them (not counting times I repurchased a system after years of not owning one).
NES
Genesis
SNES
Gameboy Pocket
N64
Gameboy Color
Gameboy Advance
Dreamcast
Xbox
Gamecube
PS1
PS2
GBA: SP
GB: Micro
Nintendo DS
PSP
Wii
and my lovely PC (I've had a PC in my home since 1995 though)
Up until this point in time
I will get a PS3 later this year. I also plan to get a 3DS when it releases.
Edit* Red means I don't have that system anymore.
NES
Super NES
Nintendo 64
Game Boy Color
Playstation 2
Gamecube
Game BoyAdvance
Game Boy Advance SP (X2)
Wii
Nintendo DS
The ones I owned : Windows 95 PC /My Dad's Atari/NES/ n64/ pc / gamecube/ 360/ Wii/ ps2& dreamcast/ pc/ ps3 I think in that order: been too long, I got Dreamcast and PS2 for 35 dollars both from a video store closing!
PS3 was my last console to buy when Amazon did its Resistance 2 Collectors Edition PS3 Bundle for Black Friday for 300 dollars in like 2008. This doesn't include handheld.
I do however question ProjectNatal gaming rig considering the constant hate he gives to PC
People rather play PS3, 360, and WII, and play online w/ LIVE in which they are willing to pay for it. This isnt even debatable.
ProjectNatalFan
in your world you think the pC is doing good, in the real world, its a distant 4th compared to wii,360, and ps3.

Virtual Boy is a very cool system. The 3D effect was actually pretty awesome, I loved the controller, and most of its admittedly small library is good.I don't know the orde rI got them, but I know my first system was the Master System and th elast was the Wii, here's the list:
Sega:
Master System
Genesis
Dreamcast
GameGear
Sony:
Ps1
Ps2 (2x: fattie and slim)
Ps3
Psp (totally 3 devices for myself and 2 I'm going to sell soon, I use a white fatie and a black slimand a black fatie as a back up if one breaks, gotta say I do make money by fixing PSPs as an hobby)
Nintendo:
SNES
N64
GC
Wii
GB (sadly with broken display)
GBC
GBA SP x3 (4 player FF:CC ftw ^^, one of them is broken)
NDS lite
MS:
XBox
X360
Also an iPhone 3GS which can somewhat be called a system
I'd like to have a NES, a Saturn and an Atari as well.
