Little Big Planet review

I took a copy of Gamereactor magazine and noticed that Little Big Planet scored 10/10.

They also rank it as PlayStation 3's best game to date after GTA IV.

So far so good, keep these 10s coming baby.

Everyone I know that is in beta loves it.

I was holding out on preordering because I don't believe in it, but maybe I should get my preorder in. I know some places are offering extras if you preorder is Gamestop still the best place?

Actually is 3 out of 4 so far. 3 magazines/websites have given it a perfect 10 and IW gave it an 8.5 I believe. Still 3 perfect 10's is amazing. Imagine the stuff that would happen if GS gave it a perfect 10?DeadSpaceXIII

wow 8.5, thats low, I can see this game getting a 9.5 too. Its just to innovative and new.

then PS3 gets 2 AAAAE's this year :P hopefully

They are also the ones that gave MGS 4 a 10/10 on the magazine and then retracted it on the site (gave it a 9.5/10).

They bash Killzone for having to much grey, but praise Gears of war 2.

They say Nathan hale is a generic character, but master chief ain't.

This game actually makes me want to get a PS3..I thought about it when MGS4 came out, but I shrugged it off..Now I'm thinking about saving up for one..texasfight54

Its worth it but not at 400...

The game looks great, but the gameplay just doesn't appeal to me. It's like playing with an erector set. It's fun for a bit, but after a while it gets boring. And a game like this would be better on the PC as it has a better interface to create the levels.

I'm not knocking it, I just think LBP2 will add more gameplay elements to make it better. Version 1.0 is a great step forward for level building on a console.

So i dont understand why people think its soo crazy that gears will not get a 10. What could they possibly mark it down for? being better than the first in every single way possible? The first got a 9.6 and if gears 2 doesnt get a 10 that means its going to get i 9.5, so they would be saying its not as good as the first. Gears can easily score a 10, im willing to bet it will.

If LBP gets a 10 here then I think I'll have to leave System Wars until the cows pipe down... Seriously, this place will become unbearable if the PS3 gets another AAAAE this yearcomeonthehoops
