I don't know why it would be "too late" to get the game, it has pretty solid single player levels, and a great deal of quality user-generated levels online.

Go search any thread about Uncharted 2's or any other PS3 exclusive sells and see for yourself. Whether theyr'e level 10 or below or not doesn't change the fact that it gets said by 360 fanboys.FlamesOfGrey

I'm often critical of UC2's sales, but i would never claim PS3 games don't sell.

Simply, a game as hyped as UC2, and as "amazing" as it's said to be should sell a lot better then it did. Good or bad sales don't effect the games quality of course, no one is claiming that, however it should have sold better. It probably would have on the Xbox, just as LBP would have sold far more on the Wii.

And its still selling, Most first party Ps3 games mention little big planet in the back of the manual and its still being advertised AgentA-Mi6

The good thing about ps3 games is that they have legs, they keep selling for a long time which is pretty awesome. anyways great news the game deserves it! hope they keep on releasing DLC for it

Maybe you havent but there sure is a lot of people saying PS3 exclusives doesn't sell well. Mostly they compare the hype from SW with the real world (which is lame) or they compare the games with Halo which again is lame. But how much does a game actually need to make a profit? danish-death

no it hasnt. there is two of them out in stores. lbp and little big planet game of the year edition. which offers bonus content. if that released at the same time as lbp then you could count it as one game. but they added content to boast sales a year or so later.

You are crazy. I've heard a number of people claim that if a lot of PS3 games were multiplat it would actually sale well. Heck look at what everyone was saying about Uncharted 2? They claimed it didn't sale for being a big game? Killzone 2 they claim didn't sale squat and would sale on the X360. Almost every exclusive PS3 comes out with, a month later when the NPD numbers are released you have nearly every Lem claim "see, PS3 games don't sale....if it was on X360 it would sale like crazy".darthogre

Being critical on big games that don't sell "amazingly" isn't the same as declaring every single PS3 exclusive doesn't sell. I mean, Uncharted 2 sold a few million copies. Only a fakeboy would consider that to be bad, or equate it as proof that PS3 exclusives don't sell.

The problem here some people dont see how this works, i mean ok for example and using your logic an FPS will sell 3 million first week on 360 but then the sales will decrease little by little ( i noticed sales start strong with 360 and then start getting lower) BUT with ps3 games have legs.. they stretch out to keep selling for many months to come. i think its because on ps3 you have too many games to choice from and not everyone are going to buy every exclusive day 1. uncharted 2 already passed 1 million in US alone in 3 months, pretty good if u ask me not to mention more outside of USA. again ps3 games have legs they keep selling for years. they dont have to have a strong start like mw2 or halo

You're comparison is poor. PS3 gamers are considered to have legs as they don't tend to have an initial spike in sales, atleast not compared to 360 games.

Halo 3 still sells to this day, more then Killzone 2 last i checked (which was ages ago)

360 games have the initial huge sales, and still continue to sell, of course they're going to sell much lower after the initial batch, if they continued to sell at that rate Halo 3 would have sold hundreds of millions of copies.

Really, the only console that has gaes with legs is the wii. Mario Kart still peaks around 5th in sales charts to this day, as with smoe other Wii titles.

It's good to see LBP had legs. I seem to remember it staggering out the sales gate. It's one of the few games I would buy a PS3 for.

In other news, PS3's killer FPS and 3rdPS titles, Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 fail to match half the sales of MS's Halo 3 and Gears 2.

Also, cows downplay the 360's console exclusives like L4D2, then it goes on to beat KZ2 and match Uncharted 2 in sales.

Maybe that's what lemmings are referring to?
