Exactly--pretty silly.
Regardless, I believe LittleBigPlanet will be a huge success in the long term. Initially, I think, a lot of people won't be sure what to make of the game. No amount of advertising or promotion will be able to illustrate the charm and scope of the game, so for that reason it may be a little slow out of the gates. It's the type of game, I think, that people need to watch another play before they can say, "Oh, I get it!" At this point, the game will be nearly irresistible for people at all ages.
Sadly, I also in a way hate littlebigplanet for the attention it's getting.
I mean this has come from a company who's only notable credit is ragdoll kung fu which is a brilliant game.
I wanted this game to be the underdog to show those tycoons that a little company can produce something just as stellar as they can. In a way this is still true but I think it's being flaunted too much and don't get me wrong they can but I don't want it going down the path of halo 3.

my ONLY quam currently is that there is still no word on them caving to our demands of having user-generated pictures used in the game (rather than just the PSeye)
Outside of that, this game is pure aces. Can't wait :D
I would really love to make a Gears of War LBP... with 4 player coop of course, with Baird, Cole, Marcus, and Dom.

You can do that if you had the Textures you can make Gears of War characters all you need is the Playstation Eye and a picture of what you wanted the characters to look like.
I'm going to try to make a Nintendo Themed level because I like Nintendo. You start out like Donkey Kong then as you move forward the level change to themes from other Nintendo games.
You can also have Textures on the environments the same way you can make how your character looks.

It does usually but if Little Big Planet was Region Locked we couldn't get maps created by people in Japan or any other country because it would only be locked to the Region that your PS3 was made for.
Good, I'm glad I'll get to play with people from other countries. Imagine the game sold poorly in the US, and I couldn't play maps made by the Japanese? Sony finally got something right.
