has anyone else noticed how brutal Live has become? I guess the Halo 2 noobs (12 year olds who everytime they talk crap say "yo yo yo...I'm 6'6" 275lbs and BLACK!! I'll beat you up!!" finally got their 360's for Halo 3.

I was playing CoD3 at a friends house and I gotta say they're were so many crap talkers online it was gross.

you talk as you dont encounter those ppl on psn. not as much or should i say hardly cause most dont even have mics and there arent a huge amount of ppl playing online ps3 games. also the trash talk has been going on way before xbox live existed. I guess you never played PC games before. play warcraft 3 ladder games you will have ppl send you hateful spam text msges or play other pc games that has voice chat or uses TS. thread failed.

edit: if you have problems with them trash talking. you can mute them and advoid them for future games on xbl. if they are really a problem you can report them to MS for abuse. simple as that or are you too lazy to mute and advoid them.

i never experienced 1-3 online. i have meet ppl who act gangsta and talk about certain substances such as blunt. its not just america, but i say overrall america/canada online players are the worst on trash talking compare to other players out there. 

Beating someone on Xbox Live is satisfying.

Beating a trash talker on Xbox Live, while leaving them bad feedback, is incredibly satisfying.

I'm dead serious. I've NEVER encountered a Brit that said things I couldn't tolerate....I think it may be our American accents lol they are jerk sounding online lol :lol:

I'm serious...I have played thousands of matches online that support voice chat either Live or PSN and I have never met a Brit, Aussie, ANYONE I couldn't deal with. But for some reason Americans always have the snobbiest kids or rudest dudes lol....I think it may be the fact we contribute a greater majority of gamers in general...anyone else feel me on this one?

I mean...it's not a bad thing cuz let's face it....trash talking is almost a sport unto itself. I think it may be the competitive nature of Americans in general....as Patton put it...Americans love a winner.

One thing is for sure though....without trash talkers online play just wouldnt be the same...it's like taking away the ability to corpse hump...the victory is less sweet.

i've played with a few obnoxious brits, one from Manchester... others as well..

while american gamers can be obnoxious, MANY gamers can be obnoxious..

i think we (americans) just enjoy a bit of the smack-talk in fun... the prob is most kids don't know when the fun ends and the insults begin.

however, i've heard smack-talk in many, many different accents on xbox live... not just
Americans.
