because people have a skewed view of what "fat" really is. look at models. you can sometimes see their ribcages. there are people in africa that would willingly offer these women food. and unfortunetly, theres a LARGE(no pun intended) group of people that would concider anyone heavier "fat" which is just not true.

Exactly I hate it when people see news like this and all they do is read the title of the article and like the first line "OMG lol Wii is calling kids fat ololololololo" yeah even though it's a scientific formula which shouldn't be used on children because they all grow differently, you could be really short and weigh a normal weight but it would still class you as overweight, or be really tall for your age but look fat, yet get underweight or average weight just because of your height.

Some people love to play videogames because they want to excape reality... You aint escaping reality when some software tells you your fat when you just want to have fun.
