I've been calling around for a second Wii for my little brothers birthday, I've called 14 different stores (and counting) in my area and the best I've gotten is, "We're going to ge some in on the weekend"...

8 months... 8 FREAKIN MONTHS and the Wii is still sold out everywhere.

This thing is going to outsell the PS2 when it's all said and done.

I hve wiis sitting at mjy local walmart, they got 8 in about 12 days ago and now they are down to 3 with a new shipment coming in in 2 days.

Got plenty here in Ottawa, Canada. 3 stores within a 5 minute walk of me have Wii consoles right now.

Thing is, it's true. I could care less either way because I already have two, but I guess the point is that there IS supply out there to buy these days.

tell me about it, stores aroudn here have put up sings saying they cant sell the desplay model (thats how many we need here) thell get 50-60 wiis in, and they sell in a day or 2...

Funniest and most ironic part of your post is that the 360 won't even last 30 years. It'll be lucky if lasts this entire gen :) And no, the PC isn't sold out everywhere. Walk into any store that sells computers and there is a 99% chance that they will have computers in stock.

The fact that sales rose by 100k in the last month should tell you that supply is getting better, to the point now where in. some places demand and supply are well-matched. But the fact that there are still a LOT of places that are sold out should tell you that except for the iPhone, the Wii is STILL the most in-demand item right now, even after eight months.

I went to three different gamestops looking for specific games. And I found Wii's at every gamespot. The Wii is not sold out everywhere.
