i was looking through the local trade-it (paper for people selling stuff) and ALOT of people are selling ps3's

abd even more want an elite in exchange for thier ps3's plus games

i thought maybe the trend would be teh other way?

no no, i read it in a huge advertising paper, i work in a a games shop and people kinda go both ways, as in selling one for anotehr

Loads of people are selling all kinds of stuff.

In fact, 360's are the most sold system in my Newspaper. Oh well.

I think EBAY has a lot of Wii's!!!! OH NOES!

In other news, I walked by a pet store last night and NOBODY bought ANYTHING :o!!!

Well, In my local store (in Germany, btw), PS3's are selling pretty well. They have the consoles piled up pretty much next to each other, refresh stocks once a week. The PS3 pile grows very small very fast.

But that's my local store.

from what i've been seeing speaking with my nephews, they and their friends (age 12-16) want a 360 and halo3.

all the adults i know that aren't hardcore gamers want a wii for themselves or their family if they have one. all the hardcore gamers i know have a wii and other system or are trying to get a wii.

Yeah but don't say that to a cow they will start listing games that are either on the 360 or Wii, suck, or nobody cares about them.

The biggest question is, are people actually buying them? It's not like they're hard to find like the Wii...Erebyssial

The reason the Wii is selling so much is because it appeals greatly to:

Young adults looking for a cheap with the occasional thrillsolution.

Adults looking for a cheap but cool christmas/birthday present for their spoilt kid.

10000000's of 8 year olds who have no idea what gaming is.

1 or 2 people selling a console doesn't mean that EVERYONE is doing it. I saw someone trading their Wii just the other day but I didn't come to the conclusion that all Wii's are being sold...
