I agree. I've read a few Edge reviews. They're excellent. People wouldn't be as annoyed with some of their scores if they could read their reasoning behind it. It's often quite strong. I don't doubt they had some valid reasons for giving R&C an 8. I mean, 1UP isn't exactly known as harsh and they gave R&C an 8.5, so it's not like it's gotten only raves upon raves.

Honestly, with these scores, someone could make a pretty good case for Edge being biased against the PS3.

Edge almost always scores games under the average - across the board. They're infamous for this, in fact.

btw in the 12 years of reviewing they have only given 5 ten out of tens

which is now six because of orange box

they tend to rate higher on originality titles
