I went shopping at a bunch of stores this weekend (picked up SMG- it is heaven in a video game, I love it so much), and noticed something interesting. The PS3 game section was miniscule compared to the Wii, 360, and even PS2 sections at every store I went to (Circuit City, Best Buy, Target, Gamestop, etc). There were probably 20-30 PS3 games on any display, while at the same time having at least twice that for every other console.

Cows, if you can't have AAAe games, and there are not even games available in stores for casual buyers to buy on impulse, how do you expect to win the console race??? :lol:

Oh yeah, I also saw TONS of PS3s available for sale, and zero Wiis and very few 360s. I saw TONS of people buying Guitar Hero II and III for 360 as well.

Conclusion: The PS3 has failed last holiday, and is about to fail for the second holiday in a row.:lol:

This has been my goal since I heard the $599 pricetag- knock Sony off of their cocky pedestal, so that maybe they can actually deliver a good system with the PS4. They have royally screwed up the PS3, when it would have been so easy to just continue on from the PS2 days had they released a cheaper console, earlier and without blu ray.

I want the children of today to know that the PS3 is a bad deal, and that Sony deserves to pay for their mistake.

I can play great games on the PS3 that you won't play, and will just bash without ever playing.

As I live in europe.. I went to the store..xbox had around the same amount of games displayed as ps3 maybe a bit more but what amazed me ps2 had more games than ps3,xbox and wii all together.

Also in every shop I went all ps3, were sold out. to my surpice 499euro ones not the 399. some stores still had 399euro ones but none had 499euro. Maybe cause they shiped more 40g ones? who knows, but they all had xboxes.

btw we europians care a lot about quality of the product and lasting time. also we dont spend so much time playing like you guys in US do.. no offence but live in US is pretty fukced up in many ways :) but Im going offtopic here.

PS4 will be DA BOMB! MSG5, GT6, and FF23 will all be launch titles. It will use blu-ray discs and have one completely backward compatable sku retailing for $350.

the PS3 section is bigger than the wii section where i live, goes for all best buys and targets and wal marts and gamestops i've dropped by in, and for the most part the ps3 and 360 sections were about the same size as eachother except at best buy where the 360 had its own isle

sames goes for blockbuster, the wii games and ps3 games are in equal number and they don't have even half of the ps3 games there either (if they did it would be a 3:1 ratio)

also went by the local best buy today to pick up some movies, the 360 and ps3 were about the same in terms of amount of consoles sitting out, and the wii was nowhere to be found (although it only takes you maybe 15 minutes to find one if you goto more than one store here at least)

and all copies of rock band were gone regardless of system

and at the gamestops there were 4x as many used wii's and 360's as ps3's

so, all i can say about OP is that's it's all relative

You have to face the cold truth, Sony is not going anywhere, Sony is going to have a above average holiday this season and have a tremendous year next year. You think maybe, I dont know lets say 40% of that 120 million ps2 owners will make the jump into the PS3? 40% of 120 million is 48 million. Thats only 40% and that 4x as much as what the 360 has sold with msoft's big guns out.

You are fighting a cause you can't win. So just stop wasting ur time, buy a ps3 and enjoy what that system has to offer like every other system on the market. Next year this time I am 100% positive you will be liking your ps3.

SMG and the Wii suck the PS3 is outselling the wii in weekly sales in Japan and UK. The Wii is for 4 year olds who like to play watered down party games. I own a Wii and a PS3 and the PS3 owns the Wii sucks. The only wii game that interests me is No more heroes but the day it comes out there are also tons of other better games i want
