You weren't, but then neither were Microsoft. It's the risk you take when you buy a console. Hardware revisions are hardly new.

Microsoft is responding to demand from consumers, and they should be applauded, not shot down.

This is the price you pay for an intermediate system like 360. If you want the full next-gen experience obviously the PS3 is the way to go. Even the cheap version has HD video and HDMI. The 360 was never meant to have the staying power that PS3 has, even in the Elite form. PS3 will still be relevant years from now while the 360 with its limiting DVD drive and no standard HD will die within a couple of years. WheresMyChippy

Actually xbox360 might be more overpriced than ps3, it's still better than ps3, more powerful gpu, uma, edram.

Or they should have just sold the Harddrive separate so the early adpoters didnt get the shaft. Regardless Sony has to be laughing there ass off its things like this thats going to get some Microsoft hate brewing.

ps3 is like a pc pimped out, with teh cell blu ray bigger hdd, card reads etc,  but it's like someone forgot the highend video card and  gimped pc on the video card LOL.

ps3 maximum polygon performance is 250 million.

xbox360 polygon performance is 500+ million

i guess, xbox360 elite, is for the iptv crap for movies freaks who want the best quality picture as possible, colors etc.

a quality vga cord can almost match, hdmi output...colors might be alil better on hdmi.
