I am talking about GoW 2 against LoZ TP. Clearly GoW 2 is the far superior game in terms of gameplay, sound, story, etc. It is one heck of a fighting adventure game with intense and epic battles. TP was a borefest and the combat was way to easy that even a 3 year old could master. Just press B or wave the Wii mote until the enemy is dead. This pales in comparsion to the combo heavy and effective fights seen in GoW.

Here's added refinement to make the sheep angry. I thought Nintendo had the best developers in the world and with the help of the Wiimote, TP should have been the best thing ever. You bash Sony but yet they ae capable of making better games than Nintendo as seen in Ico, Shadow of the Collosus and GoW. Nintendo is fixated on Mario Parties that they forgot how to make killer games. LOL.

I haven't played GoW2, but I can safely say that Zelda:TP is an amazing game, easily one of the best (if not the best) game of 2006. Bashing it like this just makes you look unintelligent.

GoW 2 will clearly outscore TP on Gamespot. Oh yea it already outscored TP on IGN(9.7>9.5). I dont know about you but I stopped playing TP after hitting the Sky Temple, it was just so boring and there was nothing exciting. I cant believe I bought into that GC hype, it was such a massive flop and Nintendo didnt do crap on it, heck Capcom did more for the GC than Nintendo ever did. Not to mention GoW 2 is coming out on time and it is not being delayed. TP was delayed for so long and it ended up not being superior because Nintendo had to go and appeal to casuals by making the game easy. I am sure the orignal GC version would have been on OOT scale level.

Now crap is already spewing out on the Wii with its latest addion being Wii Play which was supposed to showcase Wii mote capablities. So far the FPS sucked and there is nothing you can do to make up for how horrible and cheap this thing is.

Tell me how is the Wiimote saving the industry? The majority of gamers are gonna be playing on analog sticks with games such as GoW 2, Mass Effect, New Star Wars, Assassian's Creed, etc and they dont need motion sensing to make them better or whatnot.

Get out of here sheep, it is time to stop supporting Nintendo because they just dont deliver anymore.

How about this: GoW 2 against any PS3 game and GoW against any 360 game.  This is a rediculous arguement.  You could argue the same thing for any game on the PS3 or 360 also.

Oh yea that boring game. It was made my Retro Studios of Texas, which is a 2nd party developer for Nintendo. Kudos to them. I am talking about in-house Nintendo where they develop the games in Japan and lately they have been spewing out trash and calling it innovative. Expect Prime 3 to have a "casual" feeling and it will be so easy a 5 year old can beat it.

Twilight Princess is an excellent game, so don't go bashing it b/c I doubt that you have even played it.  For me an epic game has to be longer than 20 hours, something that GOW2 fails at.

Have you played GOW2? http://www.gamerankings.com/itemrankings/simpleratings.asp Put in the Limit Results to: 40 and you can preatty much see how alot of people disagree with you. Unless GOW2 surpasses GOW 1 I wouldn't use only your opinion as a definitive result.

I'm sure that Nintendo was closely involved with the development of Metroid Prime, even if it wasn't technically in house. It's pretty rare for a company to make a Game of the Year caliber game right off the bat without some experienced guidance.

Yea once you have played both Primes, you have played them all. The same boring crap of opening up rooms to find a missle upgrade and looking to the morph ball and shooting a few Space Pirates with lock-on.

Nice message misplacement.

You don't even know this for sure.  There's going to be a different controller, and this is just a guess but that might change gameplay a little bit.

Oh yes, then why do they give you a sword, arrows, sheilds, etc. Those are weapons and weapons are used for combat. Well the puzzles in TP were beyond easy and not thought provoking and atmospheric as OOT, if you think thats the focus. TP has to be the worst in the series because Nintendo decided to get too casual with this hardcore franchise.

You seem to have missed my point. I am merely stating that there are other developers out there who are capable of making a game equal or better than of what Nintendo can. You people go crazy and rant on how Nintendo is the best developer ever, but it clearly didnt show with Sunshine, Star Fox, Mario Sports and Parties, Pikmin. If they are so good these games would have at least sold some Cubes. Their franchies have been going downhill and the Wiimote wont revive them.

Sony on the other hand which are bashed by sheep for being a bad developing team with unorignal ideas and casual trash were capable of outdoing Nintendo with the PS2 with games such as ICO, GoW, etc.

Did you notice I put the word puzzles in my sentence above and said they were easy? But IMO it is time for the Zelda series to get a revamped combat engine, the puzzles are fine as they way they are.

Hmmm yeah. My responce to that, is not that the Nintendo games are better then others. I would say that what makes them great is that they are unique in comparison to others, even the ones that to some extent use the same mechanics introduced by Nintendo games. That is one of the reasons why many reviewers said when Okami came out, that Nintendo was not the only one anymore capable of doing Nintendo games. So what I'm trying to say, is......... Yes! I agree with you.

The focus of the Zelda series is puzzles. If you haven't realized this, you probably haven't played a Zelda game.

Did you notice I put the word puzzles in my sentence above and said they were easy? But IMO it is time for the Zelda series to get a revamped combat engine, the puzzles are fine as they way they are.

I've heard that TP is the last Zelda to follow the OOT formula, so who knows what the future may hold.

The focus of the Zelda series isn't combat.

kraidiation

Oh yes, then why do they give you a sword, arrows, sheilds, etc. Those are weapons and weapons are used for combat. Well the puzzles in TP were beyond easy and not thought provoking and atmospheric as OOT, if you think thats the focus. TP has to be the worst in the series because Nintendo decided to get too casual with this hardcore franchise.

I think it will be even worse. Nintendo is just trying to trick you, the next Zelda game will be just like its 3-D counterparts. If they decide to change the formula, I bet you it will something of a point and click adventure.
