Lol... RROD straight out the box!!

So my friend finally decided to buy a console and, despite my best efforts, he went with the 360. I had warned him about my experiences with the machine but there was no stopping him.

Anyway, he bought it on saturday and, no kidding, it RROD'd on saturday evening...

Obviously it was a faulty system and he took it back and got another one which seems to be working so far, but it made me giggle like a little girl.. which i am not...

I tend to think that it rather speaks for the console's library and service that, despite the unbelievably bad hardware, people keep playing/coming back to it.

THAT'S funny!:lol: Man, I know it sucks though if you get an XBox 360 and it RROD's right away. Some people throw a tantrum and just return the system for a PS3, whilst others play it amidst its hardware implications. Man, am I glad that my PS3 hadn't gotten YLOD yet. I know it's an overheating problem, but exactly how long do you need to play it to cause the YLOD?

look after your console, give it some space, some air and away from heat sources and you will be fine. The RROD was a problem to begin with, but newer models seem far better. I can only talk from personal experience, but I know 10+ people who have a 360, some with very old models, and none of us have had a problem.

Ignore all the stats you hear because they were most likely made up by a 13 year old. Only MS knows the true numbers.

Everytime the 360 once again proves it's just as good, if not better, than the ps3, fanboys always return to the RROD tactic.
