EDIT: and the cell has a memory pool for every SPU (256k of memory) and can go up to 4GHz.

The 360 has been outdated since it was released. Infact it wasn't even the best when it was released. Intel Core 2 Duos were more powerful than the CPU in the 360 and the PS3...

it's a 1 core processor. but it's paralel process based. it works like if it had 8 processors, each one with great performance and efficiency. Also, it can run with 4 GHz clock speed. Can intel's Quad Core come close to that?

duo core has 2 cores ... duo stand for dual or 2

and quad has 4.... quad means 4
