LOL! The shelves are full of 360's and PS3's but Wii's are nowhere to be found!

Man, I can't help it. I've been sitting back to see what plays out and MS and Sony, with their overhyped, power consoles are everywhere to be found while people keep buying the Wii. LOL. How are cows and lemmings feeling about this? I guess over-powered consoles don't mean squat when they run $500/$600.

Go ahead and bash the Wii. I don't blame you. After all, it is kicking the caboose out of the other two.

As a gamer the amount of systems any companies sells does not influence the fun that I have playing any of my systems. 

However TC, I see that the fact that the Wii is selling large amounts does make the games you play better, and that to me is mind-boggling.

And to even compare the Wii to the PS3/360 is foolish.......seeing as how it destroys the Wii in basically every feature imagineable.

Here in canada i went up to my futureshop (canadas #1 Elctronic Store) anyways there were 2 ps3's sitting on the shelf and 5 xbox360's and 0 wii's.

Keep in mind next console i get is a ps3 but wii will win this gen....its going to be close between ps3 and xbox360 though

But, I hope MS or Sony don't follow suit... To try and copy them. I like my advanced consoles. :P But not $600 ones.

I've not known EB games has a policy of reconizing religous holidays. They don't in the US...

Well you can look at things this way......What if Nintendo were to have gone with great graphics AND included the Wii-mote.  Now I'd say without reservation that this would have failed for Nintendo.  The Wii hits a sweet spot with its price point.  It is easily affordable (and vastly cheaper t han the other consoles) and it is something new.  Now going with the HD type graphics ala PS3/360 would have obviously moved the Wii outta that price range and people would not have been as willing to take the "risk" with the new controller at a different price point.

Anyone who says there are a bunch of Wii's available at any given time from a store is full of crap.  I've only personally seen 2 systems in stock anywhere since launch, throughout a 2 hour drive from my place.  It seems every Walmart and Target have a full stock of PS3s everytime I go, but Wii's are still near impossible in Wisconsin.  I'm glad I got mine at launch!

 All the EBs and Gamestops are selling out within 15 minutes of the Wii.  Literally.  Anytime I visit them I hear the salesrep telling people that.  Whenever I find one I buy it because I know plenty of people who still need one.
