Hey guess what. The same link you posted also said the PS3 is overpriced, doesnt have good software and is also too big. All they said about the xbox is it has a big AC adapter

They don't buy the 360 because it has far too many shooters and games with guns if you have ever looked at sales in Japan have never done well. The 360 offers far too many American aimed games that is why the 360 sells alot more in the US than the rest of the world. Just look at Gears of War, probably 3/4 of all copies were sold in the US, elsewhere it did okay at best.

I'm pretty sure it's about a matter of taste in gamers and culture.  Because really, if they were smart, they wouldn't be playing games in the first place and they'd be studying or enriching themselves in someway. 

The 360 will definitely gain some Japanese attention once Forza 2, Trusty Bell, and Oblivion is released in Japan.r_h_i_e

I seriously doubt Forza 2 and Oblivion will have much of an effect in Japan..Trusty Bell, well thats a bit more likely but I'm not seeing too much there either, if a game by Sakaguchi couldn't get them out of their funk I don't see that game doing it.

Too bad they basically own our consumer electronics/car industries..the US is being killed economically, not militarily.

 Yea too bad Sony has to come to IBM, Nvidia and other American companies to build the PS3, don't you think? Also too bad the Japanese government forces the value of the yen to go down compared to the dollar so they can keep having the big market that is NA.

This thread gets better all the time. The nuke wasn't the only problem for the Japanese, the fact that their military had been dismantled and their evergrowing conquered empire was shrinking due to US actions were also a problem. Even if they dropped nukes first, they wouldn't have won. It would have only made us more determined to rush head on into Japan. The nuke was merely meant to end the war, to get the Japanese to surrender. It was not a last ditch effort, we were fully ready to land on Japanese soil when our president decided to preserve American soldier's lives by using a nuke.

All of it would have been avoided if they would have surrendered before hand, but they refused, even after the first nuke. They had to be bombed twice before they officially surrendered. Not like we were much better however, rounding up Japanese Americans into prison camps for no legitimate reason.

Lol thats is kind of pathetic but i remember watching family guy and then not sure how the topic came up but they showed japanese girls freaking out about small things and how the buttons on the cell phone were so small... i think thats what happened :SShunoock

-Shoddy hardware

-Huge AC adaptor

-American console

So, those are pretty valid reasons I guess.

I could really care less about what the Japanese like or don't. It really amazes me at how overated their opinion is in SW. As if they don't like something, then it isn't any good. What the hell is that all about? Their opinion is no better than anyone elses.
