The person that reviewed LBP enjoyed making levels and must not have played enough of the game. Sure this game will be great and lots of fun for the first week you own it after that who cares you've had your fun you've made the levels you wanted, and by this time you have deinatley realized the game play sucks and it's slow and floaty and all you can really do is smile and wave at yourself:lol:

The same generalization can be made with every game if you break it down like you did. See I play Gears 2 campaign once are twice after a week or 2 I got bored of online.

You sound like you've played the game.
Anyone can see the hundreds of you tube videos on LBP and see that all you do is build a level then go thru the level in which the game play looks floaty and slow and boring. Then you make a new one and rinse and repeat. Sounds like it will get old very quickly, so people are into building things though most are not. I have also read the instruction manuel for the game and you can smile and wave at yourself or frown and pout. I was interseted in this game thought it may have potential then I realized I was like most people and have gaming ADD and would get bored with this. It's kinda like a sandbox game in a sense you either love running around and doing your own thing or you think they are pointless and suck after a few hours of playing it.
I think OPM is a biased source for a review a game that is exclusive to Sony, however knowing they are biased and are more willing to side with makes it that just more pwnage on the Sony fanboys part when their beloved magazine that is delivering the first perfect score of Little Big Planet will turn around and say that Bioshock looks better on the console it was first designed for. Its pretty bad when a biased company can't even say something like "two games look very similar in comparison and at this point its hard to say that one is better than the other."
So in short, your point is useless, OPM gave out a 10 to a game that many are able to look at and see doesn't overly deserve a 10. I myself have been interested in Little Big Planet from day one, however after seeing what its shaped up to and seeing what its becoming, I'm not overly jazzed for it and now its not something that'll finally push me to get a Playstation 3. In the coming months we'll see more reviews surface, if it continues to get 10's then that's great and apparently there's some secret joy you get to playing it, but if it starts to fall lower (my guess is around a 7) then OPM is definitely biased.
