[QUOTE="Zhengi"][QUOTE="Shafftehr"] Eh, the man made one of the most praised Sheep games in the entire last gen, and I'd argue that the average Wii game is worse than the average GC game... So do you think I'm wrong? Too Human is basically in the same arena as Red Steel for quality, and I've heard plenty of Sheep praising Red Steel.Shafftehr

And this gen he has made one of the worst games. How the mighty have fallen after moving to the 360... much like Rare!

Hey, don't knock new Rare games without trying them. As a long time Nintendo supporter (well, UNTIL this gen), I'd argue that the Viva Pinata games are among the best they've ever made. Maybe not quite Goldeneye level, but...

I notice you didn't answer my question. Though, I don't see why you would... Red Steel, which Sheep praise, got 65% at GR... Too Human, one of the most reviled games on the 360 which is considered to be Dyack's fall from grace, got a 69%. The sad thing is, if he'd made that game for the Wii, Sheep looking for "serious" games would be praising it, much like Red Steel... And we both know it. Though, in fairness, even some desperate Lemmings went on about Too Human...

What is there to answer? It's a ridiculous notion that is unsubstantiated and cannot be argued either way because Too Human will never be released on the Wii. So why even argue about nonpoints? It'd be a complete waste of time, especially since you're so serious that you actually have a point

As for Rare, I've played Viva Pinata. I didn't think it was that great of a game. And I see you avoided the other Rare games. Yeah, Rare doesn't bring out the same type of quality games as they used to.

Eh, the Wii does have some legitimately great games on it. It's just, the ratio of great games to utter garbage is really, really bad, and easily the worst on any console this Gen, so it has Sheep pretty pathetic.

It does have some excellent games, i admit that, but Sheep think those handful can actually compare to the PC/360/PS3? We have as many AAEs for our systems as the total AAs they have

To me, there is no comparison. I couldn't find any assortment of 360 or PS3 games that I'd enjoy more than my current library of Wii games. But then I don't care for online, which seems to be a big selling point for a lot of games on the other consoles.

Sorry we go by SW rules I could say exactly the same thing about the entire Wii lineup. It seems that wherever Nintendo is lacking, Sheep dont care. Its like the Conduit, yay graphics matter, yay shooters are cool, yay online is important! Catch my drift?

So you're calling me a fanboy playing what I like?

And if you've seen any of my posts you'd see I couldn't care less about The Conduit.

No, no, I agree with that. The Wii is in their ballpark for truly exceptional games, but *way* below the curve for general quality games. But then again, I was also one of those people that a game like Warioware Smooth Moves was a legitimate AAA title - just not for the audience that you'll find in these forums. The Wii has a few very solid AAA type titles for more conventional old-school gamers, and some AAA titles for the new ultra-casual crowd it's catering to. Doesn't do the more conventional gamers any good, but Nintendo is laughing all the way to the bank, because they're found a totally different plane of "quality" in which to muck around.

Warioware is absolutely amazing, i agree with everything you said, its just that anything relatively 'good' on the Wii is taken way to seriously.

Hell no it isn't. I'm 100% sheep. Nothing on the 360 or PS3 interests me...but I have bought only two Nintendo games this year. Smash and Mario Kart. I skipped Wiimusic, Animal Crossing, and Warioland cause they were all subpar and lazy. (I wan't wiifit but can't find it)

The rest of my stuff from this year have been great third party games.

Nintendo doesn't get a free pass. They have dropped the ball these last 6 months.

Definitely more "hardcore" Nintendo games like Zelda and Mario. I'm not too fond of Wii Fit and Wii Music stuff, or crap-tacular third party games. I want to see epic games like Ocarina of Time. I grew up on Nintendo stuff and they delivered in those days. These days, they're just a money-making machine to me. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Their simple-minded games do not appeal to me.

Pity you've fallen into this evasive trolling mode, because you know I'm quite right. Games like Red Steel get praised on the Wii - the notably more highly critically Acclaimed Too Human made by one of Nintendo's best developers last gen would have been eaten up. You can sit there and say "It'll never be released so we'll never know!" all you want, but it's as obvious as saying that Mario Galaxy would be the best platformer on the 360. Or would you say that's impossible to know too since it wasn't released there? I guess it's perfectly reasonable for idiot Lemmings to go on saying Banjo is a better game, since Mario Galaxy was never released on the same platform to compete? I avoid other Rare games because they're mediocre and not worth praise. I'll take one gem from any developer - and Viva Pinata was just that. IS just that, with #2 - easily one of the most enjoyable series of this gen.

How are you right? I never praised Red Steel. So I'm supposed to go with what others say about this game? And who cares about Ifs? The FACT remains that this game will never go to the Wii because it's published by MS. Why don't people talk about "What if SMG was on the 360?" You know why? Because it's NEVER going to happen, so why even talk about it? It's a waste of time.

It's fine that you liked Viva Pinata, but the fact remains is that Rare is not the same rare from when they were with Nintendo.

Wow, way to take that out of proportion. You've been in SW too long. I certainly was not praising Nintendo. And God forbid I don't like the other systems' games.

Take a chill pill.

Hey, you can't have an opinion in SW. You gotta fall in line with what others think. Don't you know the rules? :)

A hardcore game doesn't have to be difficult and convoluted. Mario is a franchise that can be loved by casuals and hardcores, and that's because it has something for both of them. Being more than a glorified mini-game is probably part of it.

AlexSays

So Galaxy IS better than Banjo because it caters to the hardcore as well as the casual, thus escaping overrated reviews due to the low Wii standards.

While casual-only games get overrated because they're affected by the very same low standards Galaxy and friends didn't fall victim to.

That's one game in one genre. 80%-85% of Wii games released are casual shovelware.

I guess it's better than blowing on a Wii-mote like it's a flute, though...

FirstDiscovery

Wii Music -- 6.5

Too Human -- 5.5

Not according to Gamespot. :|

Different standards, Wii isnt for gamers, therefore games that suit the taste of its demographics will get scored higher

 do you even hear what you just said i am a gamer and i have a wii... :| and a 360

According to 1up Wii Music is awesome:|

lol you don't understand 1UP's rating system... as clearly stated when they reviewed Boom Blox they rated it A+ the same as GTA4 they said they were completely different and it was Boom Blox was casual game but excellent none the less p.s AlexSays don't mention SMG cause that never happened and doesn't count in this argument

Catch my drift?

the only reason the conudit is hype is that is suppose to be one of the best fps games on the wii. not for what it offers just the way it plays.

I wouldn't hype Conduit at all, but if the control system is good and successful maybe it could implemented in higher end consoles in the future as an alternative to the standard controller when playing FPS's

All i was explaining why its hype. I mean i want the game myself but i dont go around hpying games. I enjoy games i like no matter what a review says.
