DS LITE

Absolute best handheld library ever. Over 1500 DS games and 1000 GBA games to choose from.

Simple descision IMO.

Although the PSP is a good handheld as well, just not DS Lite calibur.

DS LITE

-Oath

You can play GBA games and I don't think I have to tell you there are a lot of fantastic ones.

My favorite DS games include:

GTA Chinatown Wars

Zelda Phantom Hourglass

New Super Mario Bros

Super Mario 64 DS

Mario Kart DS

Metroid Prime Hunters

Kirby Canvas Curse

There is still so many more DS games I want to get. On the top of the list is The World Ends With You.

The question is, "why not get a DS?"

If you got a DS Lite then that is all you need.

Just this week they added Animal Crossing Calculator and Calander to the DSi Ware Shop, you want to pay that extra money to be able to download shovelware?

I have both, and I have to give the nod to the PSP.

Games on the PSP are a little bit to my liking, call it hardcore if you will. There's a lot of great RPGs that can chew up lots of your hours, and you can also play a lot of classic PS1 titles.

The DS games just doesn't do it for me, and the touch screen is still a little bit gimmicky to my liking. Games like Mega man ZX and The World Ends with You are pretty fun though.

Well if you had a DSlite and didn't like it then I can't imagine why you would like the DSi. Its virtually the same thing apart from a few new features like the camera (which you would never use anyway). Go for the PSP

Even though I think the DS is the better handheld, I voted PSP on this poll because I didn't feel like playing along.

Your not giving us much to work with... But since you already had a DS Lite, why not go with the PSP this time around.

PSP. It's got a better game library for the hardcore, got loads of features and you can surf the internet.

Give a bit more info. If you don't like the DS lite, then go for the PSP.

Edit: For features, PSP wins.

agree on both things, i just traded my dslite for a dsi, once it starts getting enhanced/exclusive games its gonna be sweet. and there is a super overabundance of cows on sw.

If you're not really looking at games, then you might consider getting a fancy MP3 player or cell phone that can also play games on the side. Never buy a system based on features, if you're looking at a system, base your purchase around which games you really wanna play and go from there.

Extra features can be nice, but they should not be the main reason you buy a system.
