I believe in supporting the developers... Rockstar has already made over a billion dollars from the supremacy of the consoles; why not make a few nickles and coins from the Beggars as well...

I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I'd rather have RAGE 2 or something new.

This... sad, but true. The glory days of Doom are long gone.

And yeah, I'd prefer RAGE 2 as well, the first game had plenty of flaws, but if it did one thing right, it's the gunplay. Would list it among the best we had this gen, it feels awesome, guns are varied and powerful, the sense of impact is great, and animations are cool, like enemies wall running, climbing, etc.

Replayed it again recently, this time with the new Scorchers DLC, and I must say, appreciated it much more than on my first run.

Doom 3 was a boring, linear shooter. In fact, it was more of an OpenGL demo than an actual game.

Just saying...

It was nothing but a bunch of jump-out-and-fail-to-scare-you moments. That's it.

I thought I was going to get lynched for saying I want a RAGE sequel more than Doom 4, haha

The game did feel weak in parts and I understand a lot of the criticism but the gunplay and enemy animations are among the best of this gen like you said. All the more reason it needs a sequel; one that can fix the downsides of RAGE. That would be a spectacular game.

The scorchers already did some of that, it had a far more interesting final battle for example. It was also really great value for your money.

The best part is, I think I got Scorchers for free on Gamersgate with those Blue Points of theirs, and yeah, that new gun alone makes it a worthwhile investment. Nailgun, bigger nailgun and railgun and all in one, what more can you ask for? :D

Maybe, but I'm not one of them.  Actually if the game comes out on PC I'm inclined to buy it again.

I'm really annoyed when a bunch of hermits keep saying how GTA V in inferior or runs like crap compared to the version that isn't out let alone announced yet, and they clearly know that better than people who actually have the game.  But its a matter of perspective I guess, you could say console players were being annoying first or something, and there's no way to argue which came first.

I'm going to do something CRAZY and play my PC games on my PC and my console games on my consoles.... do you all limit yourselves to 1 platform b/c you're poor? and need to pretend that you don't want other platforms, b/c its easier than dealing with the fact that you can't have them?
