Lord of Vermillion announced by Square Enix

For the ps3 no info on other platforms yet if it is gonna be multiplatform but so far this is exclusive.

You're right, I had that game. It was one Sega's 1st RPG's for the console.

They need to stop announcing and start cranking out the games.

The focus of Crystal Chornicles was never graphics but a multiplayer experience, and I don't know anything about the WiiWare project. But the Nintendo is still getting the biggest games of all from Square: Dragon Quest games. These are the games that decide a battle in the System Wars. The only consoles to have won without it were those who came before its inception.

Yes. Yes I do, it was one of my favorite RPG of the 16 bit era. Screw Gamespot's Wii VC review of the game, it had great music, great RPG elements, a lot of challenge and I still love it.

We have no details on the game so it's impossible to know if it's based on the Megadrive/Genesis RPG or weather it's a new IP with a similar name. It's a little early to be speculating.

I don't but its good to see a new ip from made by square enix for the ps3 :D, hope its as good as final fantasy or even better :Dfistoflight

This isn't a NEW IP, it's actually VERY OLD, ancient by video game standards, I think it was on the Mega Drive/Genesis.

It would be nice if SE COULD come up with a new IP, it feels like they havent in about 10 years and instead just continuously milk old franchises, similar to what Nintendo do with Mario.
