Am I the only one who really enjoyys the PSP? If it wasn't for the PSP (PC and some fighting games to come out this gen) I would of been a very bored gamer this gen. No I love my psp.. I own 3 of them!!! Most played system this gen! I was strictly a hermit last gen (ps2 gen, owned consoles and pc before last gen) and it was getting a psp that made me get back into consoles. I love the system!!! There are tons of underrated games on it. If some of those games came to xblive arcade people would be raving about them..(mostly the gaming "press" ). ..but they don't because its on psp. Games like the Holy invasion of Privacy badman series are some of the funnest real time rts/rpg dungeon owning games. Tactics Ogre Luct adn FFT:wotl are the best srpgs out there for consoles, and there are countless rpgs and other fun games. I think some people don;'t like it because it's not loaded with fps games (but it has it's share of them).Good games like Assassin's Creed Bloodlines also get bashed. That game had a full open world Assassins Creed world, that played and looked just like the console games but with its' own story. Then there is games like resistance retrobuition which was one of the best resistance games. GTA: lcs and GTA: vcs were full featured 3d GTA games (not 2d like china town wars) and have everything their console counterparts have including unique songs and radio stations. Those games are epic, its GTA on the go and its so fun to play.
You got Dungeon crawlers like Dungeon Seige throne of agony, Class of heroes. etc. Unique games like Patapon, Loco Roco, Patchwork heroes, badman, 1/2 minute hero, gravity crash, caldun, etc.. Disgaea games, original jrpgs like y's 7, FF7:crisis core, Dissida, Parasite eve 3, kingdom hearts, phatasy star portable, crimson gem saga, 4 legend of heros games, etc.. 2 full featured wipeout games, 2 full God of war games, tekken games that are on par or better then console versions, Castlevania sotn(rondo of blood and rondo of blood remake on one disc).
4 metal gears games.. MGS portable ops, MGS PO+, MGAcid 1 and 2, and MGS: Peacewalker, Plus valkyria Chronics 2 , remakes of classic rpgs like star ocean 1 and 2, ff1-2 and tactics.
Then there is the ps1 classics that look and play great on psp.. Games like Legacy of kain blood omen and soul reaver, The full arc the lad trilogy, wild arms, Final Fantasy 7, 8, 9 and tactics, vagrant story, Xenogears, Medieval, Suikoden, Resident evil, MGs1, silent hill, crash bandicoot, etc... PSP is the greatest thing to grace the handheld space!!! (I own and have a ds-lite as well, and I like it, but it doesn't compare to the awesomeness that is the PSP!
