For how long the franchise Pokemon has been popular for nearly ten years (in North America alone)

I still sell over 2 packs of Pokemon cards at work a day.

I've never met anyone who bought the Pokemon cards. Only a school project on them.

Except that disasterous Gameboy game about Pokemon cards. That game was terrible :x

Man, those were the good days :) I managed to get into Pokemon on the first day :D And I still am...with the games, anyway.

I used to be an obsessed little kid, what with buying all the cards I could and crap...

Thankfully I stopped, but not with my love of the games. (Handheld ones, anyway)

Yeah, Nintendo deserves bashing for pushing that Pokemon TCG **** on people, at least I can see SOME compelling aspects to the Yugi-oh TCG. Seriously, does Pokemon even require any strategy in the TCG? Because Magic outright kills it.

With the amount of people who chastise Nintendo for their business image, I am very glad the company is still as strong as ever.  They've been there since I was a todler basically, and 21 years later they still amaze me.  If Nintendo were to ever fall, it would be a dark day for gaming, I don't think anyone would deny that.

BeatBlue twice

Beat Yellow once

Beat Silver once

Beat Gold once

Beat Crystal about twice (can't remember)

Beat FireRed once

Beat Ruby countless of time (way too easy)

50 hours into Diamond. Damn the Elite Four!

Haven't played Pearl yet.
