M$ really loves their customers!

OK, this thread will most likely get some peoples panties all in a bunch, but whatever. We all know about the RROD, but M$ would like us all to believe that that was an ACCIDENT and that they would NEVER have released a product KNOWING that it had an unacceptable failure rate.

FIRST, I'd like to remind the fanboys that this news comes from the same source that leaked the news about Bungie leaving M$ a week before it was officially announced. So you may want to stop and think for a second before you make a stupid reply saying how this is all BS and you're beloved M$ would NEVER do such a thing to it's loyal xbots.

The truth is that M$ is WAY more concerned about beating Sony then they are about making their customers happy. They KNOWINGLY released a faulty product because they were so desperate to launch before Sony. On the flipside, Sony did the extreme opposite and delayed their console(even though they knew M$ already had a headstart) so that they could make it very reliable and quiet.

If you want to keep supporting M$, then go ahead. Just remember that they sure as hell don't support you.

And don't bother with you're OLD, WORN OUT comments like "But the 360 has WAY better games". That was true OVER A YEAR AGO when PS3 launched and the only great game was Resistance. It's really pathetic that you guys pretend like nothing has changed since November 06'.

360 has Gears, Halo3, Mass Effect, Forza2, Bioshock, etc.

PS3 has Resistance, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted, UT3, etc. (FYI Uncharted has an average of 9.0 from 68 reviews and Ratchet has an 8.8 from 70 reviews, nonfanboys don't go solely by GS reviews)

Gears, Mass Effect and Bioshock > Anything the PS3 has at the moment...

Yea well that's good to know. I told my friend about the 30% failure rate and I knew M$ rushed their console but hey they're paying for it with the 1 billion dollar hit they're taking to repairs.

As for which system is better, that's the PC of course. You wouldn't be posting right now without a PC. WoW has 10 million subscribers and growing each day. Starcraft, Baldur's Gate, Deus Ex, Far Cry, Half Life.

The list goes on and on. The PC is superior in my book :).

now you can say yeah but that was last gen. sony got there stuff together. yeah thats true . but it took three gen's to do it. and if i remember right if it wasn't for the large library of games for the ps2.(much like what 360 is now) people would have left them long ago. now before you get your panties in a bunch. by no means am i inplying that MS is right or that the RROD is not a problem. but before you and most cows on this site start casting stones at the 360. note that sony let alot of people down the way they handle the problem. and not amitting the problem and coming clean with the failure rate doesn't mean it was low either. just food for thought.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma is a remake. Uncharted is a good game, I never denied that.

Yeah, RROD sucks, I know. I'm not an Xbot. I don't deny that the 360 has horrible hardware and that Microsoft is a horrible, horrible company when it comes to customer service, and that a 3 year warranty is just avoiding the problem and not fixing it. But it has the games that I want so what can I do?

MS does not care about anyone but MS as it is with any large corporation, i am a 360 owner for at least one more month, and you have to admit MS dropped the ball. not only is there system faulty there customer acts as if they are doing you favor. i have rrod once and i have a reaccuring disc tray problem. I called their srvice line they said that i was under warranty and that they would send a box out. did not receive box within a week called back to confirm if it was coming they told me that they never had that conversation with me and that now my system is not under warranty anymore. i sadi your bs and i will never buy another xbox brand they said ok and hngup. they hngup on me a customer. this is one of the reasons i dumping this piece of **** machine in favor a real mans machine the ps3. sorry so long and ranted but they burned me bad.

I love it when fanboys say "nonfanboys..." in their post. You can't say nonfanboys when you yourself are a fanboy. Go out and enjoy all the systems like I have and you would know what a nonfanboy actually is. Who cares if MS rushed into this gen? We all know they jumped in early, because they can't afford to wait like Sony did. Sony was still riding off the success of PS2 while Xbox sales were stale. MS knew what they had to do and they did it, they also paid for it by the 1 billion dollar deal for 3 year warranty on RROD. If MS didn't care about their customers they would have never added that extended warranty or offer the free game for xbox live outage.

Ontop of that, lets compare the two manufacture warranties:

PS3 = 90 day labor warranty, 1 year part warranty

Xbox 360 = 1 year laber warranty, 1 year part warranty, 3 year warranty regaurding RROD only

All companies have their faults, you are the fanboy that can't see the difference.

If they had their choice they obviously wouldn't have added it.

I thought everyone already knew that MS cares little about the consumer. Their main goal is to beat Sony. They will do whatever it takes. That is a bad (RROD) thing for us in ways and good (some great next gen games early).

If you deny that the PS3 has great games then you are a fanboy plain and simple. If you deny the 360 has great games you are a fanboy plain and simple. But this is SW so everyone is wrong I guess...
