Mad Max Gameplay Trailer

From the developers of Just Cause 2 which has sold over 3 millions on pc according to steamspy.The game will be on Steam OS, Windows, PS4, and Xbox One.

“It is literally visceral,” said Mathew Kumar of the combat in our Mad Max preview last year. “And it doesn’t get any less so when Max leaves the vehicle, choosing to attack his enemies with a ‘Thunderstick,’ a horrific electrified prod with gruesome results.

“But, of course, Max’s melee combat follows the Arkham Asylum template, so it’s rather unremarkable compared to the thrilling vehicle combat.”

On the graphics, it's really going to depend on how this baby looks in motion, If this has something like the Killzone 2 effect then it could look astounding but on face value alone it looks less impressive than RAGE from last gen.

I think this will be a 6/10 game that will be forgotten before even being released.

Gameplay trailer looked pretty good, If it can improve on Rage then I'll be happy. And yes i know different developers.

Looks alright. Need to see a hud or something before I can dismiss these as actual.

This game is growing a bit on me. If the car vs car combat is fun it could be great. Oh well, will have to wait and see. Dig the three barrel shotty

if I could love a Mad Max game as much as I loved The Road Warrior I'll be quite satisfied, hope the Fury Road movie is good too, if either of those is worth a damn I'll be happy, if neither then I'll be sorely disappointed

This will be especially awesome if main character is voiced by Mel Gibson.

It's still being made by George Miller and they're still using the Ford Falcon XB as the Patrol Special like in your pic. Also, the guy who played the Toe Cutter plays as the main Antagonist in the new film.

I have high hopes for the game and those graphics look very nice indeed.

Not really proper in game shots though. The bottom one is definitely just concept art. Interested to see how this turns out though, always nice to get a new post-apocalyptic game that isn't just zombies.

Meh it really doesn't look all that great but still with the Just Cause 2 development team this could be a gooden.

While Warner Bros. hasn't held back in showing off the new Mad Max movie, the same couldn't be said for the new Mad Max game from Just Cause developer Avalanche Studios.

But that ends now, as the developer has released an extended gameplay video, which shows off the game's car combat and customization, as well as its brutal melee features, and more.

Yeah, watched the trailer a little while ago. Seems like something I'm gonna pick up. Looks cool, and I like Avalanche Studios.

Yup, I posted that and then watched, WOW, mah kinda game no doubt, I'm now Pumped, hope it lives up to what I just watched and heard. :D

I take it all back. Seeing the game in motion was beautiful. The character models could look a tad better though, but the car action looks amazing.

I am not too impressed with the graphics but it does look like a fun rental after seeing the gameplay vid.

Eh, Thunderdome was a mixed bag for me. It did some things right, and a whole lot of things wrong, imo. On topic, I really want this game to be awesome. I'll remain cautiously optimistic.

Well after watching the entire trailer, I see Pre-order to get The Ripper. I may have to pass on this as Pre-Release DLC is not my thing.

Agreed, and maybe its because this isn't a strict movie tie in game. I hope not. Movie games are shit. This looks like it has possibilities.

Give me Fallout 4 instead.
