Madden 08 on the Wii = best version, with online, and NO friend codes = YAY

I guess 360 and ps3 madden fans like being milked every year by putting down another 60 dollars for the same game with nothing new. Us wii owners have a reason the online and controllers. And its 10 bucks cheaper :wink:cyprus646

Oh great... are you one of those New Age Feel Goodery people who say it doesn't matter if you win or lose, it matters that you tried your hardest. If you managed a kid's baseball team and they lost 20-0 you would tell them, "At least you tried your best and sometimes that is all that you can do." and then you would buy them icecream. I would however tell them what they did wrong and how they could improve and tell they they will get their ice cream when I see improvement. The next game your team loses 20-0 again and my team improves to losing 10-2.

Defense was easily the hardest thing to really master in 07 on Wii. Besides kicking. I'm glad they're revamping the kicking system.

Sports games are about fun, not pretty graphics. When you are running down the field you arent going to be seeing your teams faces so it doesnt really matter. And you should really read the reviews, almost anyone with half a brain would agree that the Wii version of Madden 07 stomped the competition in terms of being a great sports game, probably one of the most unique to me since I played Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005 which was the last great sports game EA put out.

More features? I seem to remember the reason the PS3 and 360 version scored so low last year is because they were lacking features that were in the PS2 and Wii versions. This year all version will have the same features, or so we're told.

I played the game, and the controls are horrible. They are unresponsive and imprecise compared to standard controllers.

Controls are basically a subjective score and come down to opinion.

Well we use them because its the only way to use any sort of "facts" when arguing about video games.

Either way thats not my point. My point is the GC/PS2/XBOX versions all scored well, all without waggle. (8.1 vs 8.4)

Unless you really need .3 more fun in your life. Whatever that means.

Man its going to be many long endless nights of refining and retooling if the Wii gets the Madden Challenge lol. I can just see it now, all timings and strategy will have to be reworked and fine tuned. Which wouldn't exactly be a bad thing but could this be achieved in one month? Not for me.

In any case I follow the Madden Challenge version. That's what initially got me into the xbox anyways. I had a PS2 because it was the competitive version then xbox because the challenge moved over to there. I will follow where ever the competitive crowd goes whether it goes to Wii, PS3, or 360.

Man its going to be many long endless nights of refining and retooling if the Wii gets the Madden Challenge lol. I can just see it now, all timings and strategy will have to be reworked and fine tuned. Which wouldn't exactly be a bad thing but could this be achieved in one month? Not for me.

In any case I follow the Madden Challenge version. That's what initially got me into the xbox anyways. I had a PS2 because it was the competitive version then xbox because the challenge moved over to there. I will follow where ever the competitive crowd goes whether it goes to Wii, PS3, or 360.

I played the game, and the controls are horrible. They are unresponsive and imprecise compared to standard controllers.Controls are basically a subjective score and come down to opinion.MikeE21286

You're right.I can't argue against your opinion,but many people do agree that the Wii controls are Madden are mostly solid,with a few hitches here and there.
