Madden 09 - Best on Wii - Sports games best on Wii [56k]

Okay Dudes, the best Soccer game this generation is already on the Wii; that's Pro Evolution 2008, which is going to be a hard benchmark for other platforms to beat (totally awesome!). Additionally the Wii has Wii Sports which dominates certain casual genres such as Tennis and Golf (wicked!).

This is what IGN have said about Madden NFL 09 in their latest preview of the game.

• Regular gameplay got a huge visual bump.
• Call your Shot mode is completely new and is really good.

Madden NFL 07 scored higher on the Wii than on other versions two years ago at Gamespot and was praised for tight controls. So at the moment it breaks kinda even (major bogus!). This year IGN gave a higher rating to Madden NFL 08 on the Wii than on the other systems. (GNARLY!).

Madden NFL 08 Last Year on the Wii.



Same game last year on the Playstation 3.

And below is NFL 09 for the Wii .

So which do you think will turn out to be the Supreme version of Madden?

You do realize Madden 07 was rushed on the PS3 and 360, removing alot of features, and the waggle gave Wii the edge. Not the case anymore. No serious Madden player would play it on the Wii.

I'll probably get to try them all out though thanks to friends with different systems. Not that I'm really a big Madden fan anyway, but I've been forced into playing it before and it's fun if I'm in the mood. :P

I think your underestimating the longevity of the Wii. The sales are going to increase to incorporate every hardcore gamer across all wealth demographics once the videogame library benefits from the capital built off the casual market.

Nintendo haven't even had a single price drop yet. Even though they're in the strongest position to do so.

The Nintendo Wii is going to be the NES and Playstation of this generation. It is going to seem rediculous to maintain Madden Bowl on the 360 in the long long run once it is ancient history.

I have a 360 too. It's just a short term console. A console to run PC games at a lower cost until DX10 becomes much cheaper.

If you KNOW a game looks good in motion, and you KNOW that everyone else knows how good it looks in motion, WHY ON EARTH will you post bad screenshots as if that will somehow change someone's opinion on one game looking better than the other?
