Madden 12 vs NHL 12

NHL12 is by far the better EA game between those two. I would also throw Fifa 12 into the mix if you like Soccer...Madden is awful. The commentary is disaterous, there is ZERO atmosphere during games, the crowd still looks awful, the grass looks awful, sidelines look dead, player models are only DECENT, faces still crap, franchise is the same as usual minus a VERY few noticable upgrades.

NHL12 is just more polished...the graphics are good, it has silky smooth gameplay, you can use custom goal songs/intros/organ music etc, the crowd ROARS in NHL compared to madden. Gary thorne and Bill Clement have 10000x better flow with commentary than madden...in madden you can throw an 80 yard bomb and cris collinsworth is still talking about the last play you did CASUALLY. NHL's online is great too, it never froze for me this year so I cant complain there...

NHL 12... It took me for freakin ever to learn how to score using the right stick but when I eventually got the hang of it, it makes everything 1000 times better. Less about luck now and actual skill.. Madden sucks and everyone knows it, yet it still consistantly scores an 8.0 every year on every website and gamers still buy it like crazy so its never going to change.

I mean take a look for yourself at the user reviews, it's pretty obvious MANY MANY people see this as well. Gamespot gives it 7.5 and the users give it a 7.3. Madden 10 got a 7.5, Madden 11 got a 8.0 and now they dropped again to a 7.5. Until Madden changes their "Stone-age" gameplay up and change player animations maybe just maybe the football games can be good again. I dont think YOU understand. If all you care about is ONLINE and not the game itself then why limit it to just those 2 games? How about we tell you what overall game out of 1000's has the best online?

What we are telling you is both have similar online, both are EA games, both use the same type of EA servers and 1 of the games is trash and ha been the same for years while the other one keeps growing every year getting better and better.

Figure it out.
