Mafia 2: The biggest sleeper hit of 2010 (56K)

People should be way more hyped for this game. This game looks so much better than GTA4 which was hyped beyond belief. I especially love the setting of the late 40s and the characters lookpretty interesting as well. Anyone else excited?

Both are sanbox but I think Read dead will have a bigger world.

Very hyped for this game. The first was an awesome game with an unforgettable ending.

They are totally different. All Godfather games have been bad but the first Mafia was really good

Yes I know that. But I get the same feeling when I see the game.

I was hyped when 1st saw it, it's suppose to come out around May-July, and after loving the 1st game, I'm hoping they'll improve it too.

Super excited. Just when I thought I was out, they pull be back in. I dont know why I said that, but it seems appropriate.

Looks good. I wonder if any of this game will take place in Sicily? Would be cool since I am Sicilian, and the american mafia of the 20s have roots in Sicily.

HOw is this a sleeper hit? It's a sequel to a fantastic game. Expectations should automatically be that it's going to be good. Commercial success wise it's more of a dark horse for flying under the radar. Sleeper Hit is more out of left field, kind of like no one saw it coming.

Demon's Souls is a sleeper hit pre-eurogamer review. No one had expected much from that game, then the EUrogamer review came out and the entire hype around that game changed.

Dark horse = odd one out. Basically, it's the horse that wins from out of nowhere at the races. A 'hit' is when something comes out with a bang. So what's a sleeper hit? Something which takes a while to get the ball rolling. It's a commercial thing.

Also in my defense, you like public enemies, that horrible new zealand rapper you linked once(I still won't forgive this), and one more noteable offense against male alliance code says we're not even close to tied on the fail you're leading the field and lapping them in this race of fail.

and either way it's not going to be sleeper hit either, it wouldn't be unexpected of the game to get commercial success. It just also isn't a dark horse :P

The NZ rapper I linked was just that; an NZ rapper I linked. NZ rap sucks, has always sucked, and probably will continue to suck as long as we have this accent.

I loved the first Mafia on PC :D. It was always ahead of GTA concerning visuals and combat I think. Mafia II is one of my most anticipated titles this year. Though it's not being discussed as much because there's something called "info droughts" lol. And "multiplatform".

This is one of my most hyped titles this year.

This will be the best sandbox game of 2010 (if GTA5 isn't announced...).

Can't wait for a firm release date.
