lol for a second I thought the title said " No free"ReaperV7lol that would've been good work by the VP of Zipper. Just act like he said an entirely different word :P.
Xbox 360 on the other hand would have charged for it on top of its XBL fees, e.g. Phantasy Star.xxThyLordxxproof? oh i know you don't have it, its just fanboy dribble, oh and lets not forget that we're comparing a an mmorpg, to an unambitious generic fps. as for that its not proof till its released.
Just saw the vid. very good information with more later in the month. i'm liking the choose one faction aspect of the game but they need to reveal more info on each faction so players wont regret the first one they choose. me in the other hand already support one allegiance.

I agree his point was fanboy dribble, but unambitious? I would say 256 player FPS multiplayer game for a console is quite ambitious.
Plus we don't know if it's going to be generic yet, so your point comes across much the same as his.
Xbox 360 on the other hand would have charged for it on top of its XBL fees, e.g. Phantasy Star.xxThyLordxxThe decision to charge an extra fee for Phantasy Star Universe was Sega's doing; not MS. Take off the fanboy goggles, and research before you start pointing fingers.
This game will fail. Crappy sales everyone will be playing MW2 it will be too expensive for Sony or Zipper to maintain the servers, the online community for this game will be 3 months max. That would only be if it came out 3 months before MW2. People that have heard nothing about this game will see it in store and laugh it off as a generic COD wanna be with a name like M.A.G. Massive Action Game can they at least change the name so it has a chance.

Wow, you seem to really hate it. Most of your points are just things you made up, apart from it not doing as well as MW2, as that's pretty much a given.
How do you know it'll be too expensive for Sony or Zipper? It may well be, but your point has no evidence backing it.
they really need to come out with a BIG update soon for that. i loved it but i need more new content to make me go backJust a tad more intrested in this game... but I think i'll still like WarHawk better...
GundamGuy0
Yeah I thought the same thing. He should be in the next Bioware or Bethesda game lol.The dev at the later half sounds like he could be a pretty good voice actor lol
OneShot112
Suddenly this game is now on my potential purchase list.
Uptown
Suddenly, the area around my jeans has that afternoon delight feeling. Mag has gone from pass to "want now".
i still say that they are going to have micro-transaction fever, it only makes sense to release the game and have people pay for better weapons and equipment, i could be wrong but i think they are going to try to find a way to make money well after release, let alone the map packs
So how are they going to cover the costs of keeping the game running?Marka1700Good question. The game itself will probably make a profit, but enough to support the servers? No way.

lol That's some epic dialogue action right there.correction: lemmings have been owned. on topic: sweet! fees would have been the one thing stopping me from getting this game. i hate it when addicting games have fees. :( hopefully this game's online can stand up to other ps3 games' online (resistance 2, killzone 2, mw2, etc.)Lemmings just got owned...

A shooter that does nothing new except having a large amount of wiseguys is a reason to get a PS3?

1. The game hasn't shown all of its cards; thus, we cannot judge it until all information is released. 2. Massive battlefield involving 256 people with multiple vehicles has never been done on a console. Only game it can be compared to is battlefield on the PC. It is certainly "new" in this perspective, so there are plenty to be excited for

Listen to IGN's PS3 podcast besides hating PS3 games ok? Greg Miller, Chris Roeper and the Zipper Devs explained M.A.G. on having features that other FPS games do not have.
