I can't answer this, I haven't played MAG for hours upon hours. I don't even own it.
To be honest, I'm not sure they are even comparable.
I can tell you that I bought L4D the day it came out, and I have had L4D2 since it came out. It's tired now, and it's lost it's appeal.
Something about L4D runs out after a month or two. I don't know what it is, but my friends don't want to play no more, I don't want to play, I don't get it.
In the communities I deal with both L4D and L4D2 had the same effect. I don't understand why, but it doesn't have that long lasting online styIe other online games have....at least for me and the communities I visit.
That's not to say it isn't fun, but it's like an appetizer. I have more fun in the past with GeoW1&2, Halo 2, Team Fortress, Counterstrike, Splinter Cell 2, Battlefield, MGS3: online, Timesplitters 3, SOCOM, Resistance, KZ2, Warhawk, COD2, COD4, and a few others.
I may not buy L4D3 when it comes out, I just have noticed this pattern with both L4D games, and it's weird. Some people I guess, can't get enough, but I don't know, it has this effect on me and others. I don't get it.
Score wise, L4D2 wins.
