MAG won't have a monthly fee!

A new Q&A sesion on the PSblog confirms MAG won't have monthly fees.

I told everyone :). Sounds great. Persisent MMO like wold + Battlefield like gameplay + 256 players + Free = WINTREAL_Since

I didn't even bother telling anyone, some of the posters here cling to some crazy ideas. It was just a silly notion.

It's nice that we don't have to hear that rumor as if it's fact anymore though.

Not everyone is interested in every game, and there is zero chance of being AAAA, a small chance for AAA IMO

Never heard of this game or any charging a monthly fee just to play. I am the type who cant stand watching vids just 2 hear ppl talk, they should just have audio.

Thats good to hear. I know there were rumors of a monthly fee. This is just really good news for PS3 owners.

I'm keeping my eye on it. I play WWII Online and have had battles that are 200 vs 200 with tanks, planes, and infantry. It gets pretty nuts. From what I see from MAG, they have some good communitcation levels. Hopefully it is really good.

I also wanna see if Microsoft will try to counter it. Unless they use dedicated servers though, its not going to happen.

I just don't know about this game. So many things can go wrong here.

My only concern has vanished. YES! :D

I think this is the one game I can convince my COD4/360 buddies to buy a PS3. Really, if the gameplay is good, and there's a constant amount of persistance of leveling, and gaining new things, this will be a match made in heaven for them.

Man, I just don't understand some of yalls issues with games that don't have cod4 controls lol. I mean do yall really not play anything else? Yall really can't learn another set of controls for another game really? Man I've been gaming way to long when I can learn another games controls within a level or 2 of the SP. Guess I'm just lucky to be so talented or something lol. But anyway from the reviews MAG's controls are suppose to be just like cod4 for yalls info. Man thats a relief huh, hate for yall to scrap another game just because yall can't learn something new :roll:
