you have heard wrong, the ps3 has the NVIDIA-based RSX "Reality Synthes!zer" and the 360 ATI-based custom processor, nvidia a little better than ati. The only thing the 360 has its more video ram(512) and the ps3 256. But the ps3 its faster which its good, cause it loads more details and objects faster. Both consoles are great, i own them both, but to tell you the truth the ps3 has better graphics than the 360, some people say no, but thats because theyre comparing the first ps3 games vs the nowadays 360 games. If you go back in time and see those first 360 games and compare em to the first ps3, youll see a big difference in favor of the PS3......just wait a few months and youll see the real PS3 POTENTIAL.......


p.s- thats why the ps3 is going to last for 10 years and the 360 only 5. in five years the tittle will be PS3 VS XBOX 720

PS3 is all about potential, doesn't show you anything. Month after month, I keep hearing how the ps3 is sooooo powerful and to just wait till this or that because it will blow me away. The only thing I hear is the jeopardy music in my head, how much longer does everyone have to wait? Also, if you want your console to have a life of 10 years then you are lame. I hope to god the new generation of consoles is out before ten years, or else I am going to have to get into pc gaming more. If this generation of systems waited 10 years to put out a new console, pc games would be ridiculously better, it would put them to shame. If you think the technology in the 360 and the ps3 is going to hold up to technology 10 years from now then you are borderline retarded. I seriously hope the next 360 is out in about 4-5 years.tylerdurden2621

Well, whether we believe you or not isn't the point.

Why do some of your "engineer" friends have more credibility than anyone else? Unless they are PS3 engineers or Video Game Historians, then I don't see why any of what you posted is relevant. Your "engineers" made the same point that PS3 fanatics have been making since the console came out: give the PS3 time; it's all about potential; we have the best hardware; etc. etc.
