Main Reason for Not Getting an XBOX 360

What about disc scratching, fan failure, disc drive failure? What about other errors in addition to E74? What about the fact it sounds like a jumbo jet?

And why would I want to send my 360 back and forwards to MS? Only to get a refurb back? That will RROD again anyway? Please...

The truth is, whilst all electronic devices are prone to failure, every time you play on your 360, it could die any second... and thats not fun to know.

If I went away for the weekend, and I realised I had left my ps3 on, I wouldnt worry. If I had left my PC on, I wouldnt worry. But hell, if I had left my 360 on i would phone the fire brigade

Ps3 doesn't have more sports games then 360?

Paying for all the accessories, Too scared of getting RROD, also somewhat put off by what i hear about discs getting scratched. Most of the games i want to play i can get on PC.

I think the question should be why don't people get the PS3, seeming as the 360 is killing it in sales right now (both hardware and software). I'm pretty sure the 360 is doing fine without a couple of PS3 fanboys' business, but maybe I'm wrong.

That is same for PS3, overarted games are the worst for me, like Gears 2, KZ2,MGS4etc, but 360 gets a huge number of RPGs, that are the real deep and fun games for me

Comparing 360 and PS2 games is not going to work

Xbox 360 OS enables me to play my music lists when playing any game, and has almost instant updates, unlike the 15-20 minute PS3 ones

The only reason I haven't considered owning a 360 is the faulty hardware. Yesterday I pulled the old dreamcast out of the closet, blew the dust off, slapped in Marvel Vs Capcom 2 and had a great time with some old friends that stopped by. Would I be able to do the samething with the 360 5+ years in the future after the 3 year warranty expires??

edit: It doesnt help that every person that I know that has a 360 has had RROD, 1 person has had two, including one of the new elite models that died after 3 months. Talk about massive red flags for those considering purchasing the system.

Money, yes I realise it isn't as expensive as a ps3 but it still costs lettuce and I'm no farmer.

Obamanian: Yeah we get it, you like RPGs and 360 has more of them but people like myself don't like them so much so you can stop justifying yourself already, okay?

How about usually the only main reason to not get ANY console is that you can't justfiy paying the X dollar amount for said console because it doesn't have the features you like, the games that appeal to you, or you have a better subsititute for cheaper.

I have a PC, so I get all 360's games with better graphics.

1. Don't like Microsoft

2. Region Locked

3. RROD

1. No Exclusives I want to play
2. Pay to play online
3. No exclusives
4. Pay to play online
5. Most games aren't polished, very glitchy experience
6. No huge online experience (for most part only 8vs8's)
7. No exclusives
8. Pay to play online
9. RRoD
10. No hddvd or bluray

I'm not intrested in any of the games on it.

Id say online and RROD. 3 times RROD and other problems for me was enough, I still love 360's games and still have one but I got a PS3 now and its alot better imo.
