Has anyone heard anything about MLB 2K8 for the wii? I know it's out March 3rd. I wasn't sure if anyone knew about the controls, and if the hitting and pitching are actually dependent on how you throw/swing - unlike in the wii sports version of it.

I smell disaster for some reason. The only thing I've heard any info on is the PS3/360 version.

I'd approach it cautiously. There's already a really good baseball game on the Wii (MLB Power Pros) and I don't think 2K8 can try matching it.

Yeah, I just read somewhere that you need to use the nunchuk as well... how are you going to swing the wii remote like a bat... or pitch with the nunchuk attached to the wii remote?

It doesn't use motion controls to swing, except for limited ammounted in Exhibitions and Homerun contests. Its probally the best baseball game I've ever played though.

As always Nintendo will make a game and then the third parties will follow.

Mario Baseball is coming and after those motions are perfected everyone else will fallow suit.
