While New gen is giving old stelar genres a new facelift Next gen is downright embarassing Def Jam.. arguably one of the best fighting series last gen... Not having the speed of DOA, the combo system of tekken or the intensity of VF but great graphics, great characters, good story and a solid system.. is now on 360 and PS3.. and guess what.. it floppidy flopped big time... I played the demo on my 360 and it was unresponsive, slow and the background music aspect of the game is lame. you get random stage effects.. cool.. something that SSBM did.. but better.. duh
the demo was a real dissapointement . They just destroyed the awsome fighting system from the last one , and have put some ugly rap fight for the "1 am teh L33t " kids :roll: .

Yeah, lost my interest after reading those two points.
anyone else get the feeling the problem with icon is hiphop artists thinking they know videogame coming in trying to push ideas on developers I mean they obviously had some imput and with defjam being there I get the feeling they felt the could push the music aspect a bit more now that the series was established for some better cross promotion. I personall love hip-hop but I always see method man on tv saying what a hardcore gamer he is. Somehow though its hard hard to consider him one when you only see him play madden ofr a popular FPS game like halo. Considering he considers himself hardcore what about the artist who don't play videogames as much what if they had imput.
PS. the minute I see method man admittedly playing a game like FF, oblivion, any old school rpg or something like katamari I will rescind my statement about him not being hardcore.
