Halo 3 dosent look promesig to me this time .Halo 1 was awsome because of the contollers  graphics and gameplay.Halo 2 was awsome because of graphics and gameplay .but halo 3 wont do anythig about graphis this time and gameplay is the same so i would predict halo will get a

I've not been able to stop playing the beta.,..

The beta's absolutely AMAZING.

Like, holy crap, the beta is so bloody fun. They made it perfect. It's light years ahead of Halo 2.

I am going to go with the Zelda TP score of 8.8

Well like Zelda 8.8 the game is over hyped, and its not a drastic improvement to the series.  Its just more of the same with a couple of teaks here in there.  A great game non the less.  But just more of the same.  8.8

Based on what I have seen, it looks average at best.. In other words....the same ole', same ole', and not next-gen. Halo 1 was a masterpiece, Halo 2 did not surpass the bar that the first one set at all in my opinion, even though it was still a fun game. Halo is just not the "it" shooter that it was when Halo 1 came out. It does not have that "stigma" that it once had at all, as there are just too many other shooters that are just better.

But, beings it is the end of the trilogy, and I am sure that the gameplay will be top notch, I expect Halo 3 to come in at around an 8.8-9.0. It will be a fun game, and I am looking forward to playing it, and seeing how the trilogy comes to an end. But honestly, Halo 3 is not even in my list of top 20 wanted games. I am going to pick it up though, as I just want to see how it ends.

Halo was awesome, Halo 2 was awesome, so naturally the conclusion to draw is that Halo 3 won't be. That makes perfect sense.

I'm dumbfounded by how people can judge the entire game by the multiplayer beta.

based on the beta I think anywhere from 8.7-9.3 would be reasonable, but I have a feeling it'll end up on the higher end of that range because:

1) it's Halo, everyone loves Halo

2) they seem to be making it more like Halo 1 than Halo 2 which would hopefully mean good things for the campaign

Halo 3 is gonna be 9.5/10.

It will get close, but won't defeat GOTY 2007, GTAIV with 9.6/10.  That's my prediction.
