Most people seem to be hyping it as a 7.0-7.5 game , maybe an 8.0. That doesn't mean people should stop being interested in it. It looks pretty fun. I'll probably play it no matter what it scores at this point.

Do you even have a PS3? I think it looks just fine and if it does score a 7+ that's considered a good game by GS standards.

Majority hype has only been AA. I think it'll achieve that easily.

I am not going to try and hype it because I don't know that much about it. But, I think that it looks like fun, kinda like Crackdown.

The way we determine if it's a flop is if Prototype outscores it. Prototype has been getting abused lately because it's multiplatform. Tis a shame.

Prototype looks interesting, but for me it's more of a rent. If it's good though i'll definately pick it up

Prototype seems to be offering more ways to play, which lends itself to replayability. inFAMOUS looks like it'll be something you play once or twice at the most, because the electricity powers will wear out their welcome. Still worth buying, but definitely not moreso than Prototype.

hmmm good point. I find games like Prototype are great to just go on an mess about when you're bored aswell.

hmmm good point. I find games like Prototype are great to just go on an mess about when you're bored aswell.

There's just so much more to do in Prototype. You could compare it to Saints Row 2 in a sense, but obviously playing a more anti-superhero role.Prototype offers more gameplay components than the competition. Plus you can seamlessly jump from car hood to car hood in such a fluid sense. It just looks so natural and bad***. And you can also wallrun across skyscrapers, then dive and jump onto a helicopter and jack it. That's just bad***. Then jump out of a helicopter and elbow drop a tank on your way down. Then when you're down there, fling a guy into the air, jump on his body, and surf/grind his body into the pavement. Then run and consume the identity of an enemy, and then secretly trespass onto enemy territory and let all the violence out.

As I said, inFAMOUS will be awesome and it may even get a higher score in the end... who knows? But I still think Prototype will garner more fans.

Funny that if you came here 3 weeks ago there was nothing but silly sony fans going on about a certain Halo game and all games scoring anything below AAA needing to be burned in a firey pit forever more because there so god awful. Amazing how quickly attitudes change!

Anywho this is a solid AA i think.

Prototype looks okay right now. Infamous looks cool, but I'm not going to say which is better. From what I've seen, Prototype does seem to be more serious, but I can't really pass judgement at this time. Also, Prototype is by Radical Entertainment, the company that ruined the Crash Bandicoot series, so that doesn't seem very promising, whilst inFamous is by Sucker Punch, famous for the Sly Cooper series, so they're a more reputable company in my opinion.NYrockinlegend

You forgot to mention that Radical has created the best "real" superhero sandbox game to date (Hulk: Ultimate Destruction). They know what they're doing in this field.

Im hyping a solid 8. Cole's voice is awesome imo. He just sounds a certain way. He can sound evil and good in the same sentence. Quote "Do I want the beloved me ?? or the fear me ??" My Reasons for Hype : - Its Sucker Punch - He's a badass dude - Superpowers are awesome - Karma system looks to be a great mechanic - Storyline seems interesting nothing amazing but solid

i think it looks like a real life sly cooper i like the direction that game is going.

InFamous will scorer AAAAA it will be the best game ever. Not really I'm look forward to it I think it can get an 8.5 here at GS. I'm also rooting for Prototype too. While they both might be sandbox type games I believe they each bring something different to the table.

I'm skeptical but willing to play it still.
