Man Q4 is unbearably bad this year

This is probably the worst next gen year. Don't deny it. Basically gamers are getting some of the worst sequels I've ever seen. I was only impressed by like 2 games that were shown and I was able to play(uncharted 2, and modern warfare 2) which shows how weak this q4 line up is. Assasin Creed 2 looked terribly boring, thought the same for splinter cell conviction (surprised people were excited it didn't look all that great tbh). MAG looks okay I guess (I had some fun with the demo), halo odst looks bad, and left 4 dead 1.125 (it shouldn't even be called left for dead 1.5 that is how unoriginal this sequel is, this could have been dlc).Besides that I played ratchet and clank and didn't enjoy it that much. Wii also has nothing appealing besides the super mario bros game (wow was it fantastic). I just can't believe how sub-par this year gaming wise is. It is so bad that it makes me appreciate 2008, and 2007 so much more. This year q4 sucks big time.

And forza 3 demo wasn't very good. I wasn't impressed by the graphics tbh. The 3d enviroment looks worse than the gt mobile enviroment (their was this weird rock texture that really bothered me). Anyway, I'm done with my rant of how this may be the worst gaming year ever in a generation.

Sounds like you just don't like a bunch of AA-AAA games. Oh well, not my loss.

Bioshock 2, MW2, Splinter Cell: Conviction and Forza 3 are all must buys for me.

I'll probably get Halo ODST, and The Beatles Rock Band as well.

This Q4 looks awesome for me.

Between Uncharted 2, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Modern Warfare 2, Forza 3, Bioshock 2, Assassin's Creed 2 and many others, I'm really having a hard time seeing what's so terrible about Q4 2009. It may not be the greatest Q4 ever, but it's certainly not terrible.

There isn't really that big game like 2008, 2007, or 2006. 2008 had littlebigplanet, gears of war 2, and other fantastic games) + lots of indie greatness (braid, world of goo, etc). This year has the epic xbla game (which was my game of the show funny enough for microsoft it looked fantastic) but, I wasn't impressed with almost everything sony, and microsoft showed off. Most of the great titles that were shown off at e3 were also 2010 titles (god of war 3, alan wake, super mario galaxy 2). I mean what is the big exclusive game this year. Halo ODST?

Isn't Tekken 6 also out? Don't forget the downloadable games either....

There isn't much comming out that looks impressive to me to be honest. Brutal Legend looks great, presuming it comes out this year, Uncharted 2 looks pretty sweet and also BGE 2 I'm looking forward to, but I don't think it's releasing this year.

I would agree with you if...what you said also applies to the PS3, but it dosen't. If you were talking about the xbox360 or the wii I might agree. PS3 has a great line up of 4th Q games to accompany the already great games that has released on the system so far.

Uncharted 2, Demon's Soul, Yakuza 3 alone are enough to qualify as great...if White Knite Chronicals also manages to release it wil be this year it will be amazing.

I would agree with you if...what you said also applies to the PS3, but it dosen't. If you were talking about the xbox360 or the wii I might agree. PS3 has a great line up of 4th Q games to accompany the already great games that has released on the system so far.
