I like this part...

"Needless to say, I felt very guilty for spending all that money on pinball, so I sold all my Wii stuff."

So, in order for him not to feel guilt anymore, he felt BETTER by selling all his Wii stuff.

I'd like a Pinball machine... :( I won't sell my Wii though, even if I haven't played it in... some time. It happens to me with any console, haven't played the 360 for a while either, I'd say about the same as I went off my Wii... (MGS 4 and SC IV took my life  )

a pinball machine is the equivalent of a $1000 console that only plays 1 game...

He apparently disliked the Wii so much, that selling it to recoup the cost of the pinball machines made him feel better. He was feeling guilty about all the money he spent on pinball, but felt no guilt at all selling his Wii.

In all honesty, if he likes the pinball machine more, good for him.

I personally would rather have my Wii but that's just me.

ok, so? pinball machines are expensive, he needed to find a way to recoup the cost, he felt good that he sold the Wii cause it helped with the bills.

also, if you really think about it, he would also rather have a pinball machine than a ps3 or a 360... so what does that say about those consoles as well?

Pinball is the only true game in my books. Selling a Wii for a pinball machine is a very good trade off. Heck, I would sell my car for more pinball machines if my wife would let me. Plus the guy bought a Pinbot one of the greatest pinball machines of all time. That was a good idea in the eyes of a real pinball fan and collector.

Nothing beats the real thing. No simulator can give you the feel of a real machine.

The jokes on you, thats not damage control for what he did, he genuinely likes the Pinball machine more than the Wii. Personally I would do the same thing seeing as a Pinball Machine is more fun than a Wii.

not really. wouldnt that be more fitting of the ps3? an expensive machine that pretty much only plays 1 game (MGS4)?

yes because obviously, a logical and well versed arguement was my objective here.
