Don't feel bad Mr. uninspiredcup. It's part of Gamestop's job to put up angry loyal customers and remember, a customer is always right :P

I like the way as right near the end the employee answers a phonecall call really politely "Hello GameSpot how can I help you?" just seconds after someone completely thrashed the store.

@loco145: Just going to cut-and-paste what I posted in another thread.

I have logged a lot of hours into it. It's... not that great.

1. It's kind of boring, and the quest and side quests feel like nothing more than the faction quests of Fallout 4 after you have completed the main story arc. Something like "go fetch item X for research" for the BoS.
2. There are a lot of players who are into griefing: they get into groups, one murder's one member, then they all wait for someone to try and collect a bounty, when someone shows up, they 4 on 1 them to get their loot. It's happened to me several times. Or, en masse, they go around attacking other players 4 on 1.
3. You can easily run out of things like Rad-a-way or stimpacks, and have to spend hours at 50% health before you find some. Crafting them are locked (via strong enemies) until you are a much higher level, and the robot vendors charge a fortune for supplies while rarely buying anything from you.
4. The "survival mode" aspects that are from Fallout 4 are permanently on. So, if you could be in the middle of a quest, and start to lose heath because you are thirsty or hungry. If you have no food or water, you have to leave the quest to go find some.
5. There are a lot of bugs. Frustrating ones - like enemies who appear under the ground and kill you because you can't hit them back.
6. Most players want to play single-player, so you could be in a map with 24 other people and NO ONE shows up for the events.
7. The location points don't always work. I remember when I had to find a "Type T" fuse for the main quest. The location spots had me go to 4 or 5 different locations until one of those fuses actually spawned.

What a piece of shit. Must happen all the time, because the cashier just picks up the phone and goes all smooth on the person calling.

He must be new to this.

Is it worth going to jail over? No.

And this is why the game isn't on Steam. They knew everyone would just request refunds.

I don't know why someone would trash a GameStop over this. But, just another episode of entitled gamers losing their shit.

I wouldn't call being able to get a refund "entitled." This is one area among many where console gaming lags behind PC gaming. Steam offers refunds, and Valve is so customer friendly they are usually granted. If you buy a console game and it sucks you are left either selling it at a loss or haggling with some gamestop employee who will give you 5 bucks for something you just spent 60 dollars on.

I'm sure a big part of the reason Bethesda didn't put this on Steam is because they know it's terrible and wanted to be able to dupe as many people as possible. Duping people with broken and bad games is no longer really possible on Steam. People just get their money refunded.

I used to work at EB Games many years ago, but never had anybody trash the store. I remember one guy wanted to return a game and I told him that I can only offer another copy or a trade in. He was so mad about the purchase that he ended up breaking the disc in front of me with an intense look. I just laughed in his face as he looked like an idiot in front of everyone. I think he realized how much of jackass he was and just left. LOL

The idiot in the video will be arrested for sure and can be charged for multiple crimes.

@bigfootpart2: I agree to an extent. Xbox allows refunds on digital purchases if you haven’t played more than 2 hours of the purchase. And returning F76 this soon after purchase would net $35 store credit. Still, not offering a refund sucks. But it’s copying the film industry. Walk out of a movie because you don’t care for it and you won’t get a refund.

Not a fan of Gamestop and EB Games but this man acted very stupid. Yeah it sucks that you can't return a bad game but acting like this doesn't help.

GameStop employees have done enough shit in the past...corporate overlords will or not...that I laugh with glee at this.

Dayum. If I knew so many people were gonna buy and get rid of this game I’d’ve waited and traded someone Fortnight or Destiny 2 or whatever game people utterly BAFFLED by inventory management and reading like.

GameStop truly has garbage customer service.

There could be a line out the door and the cashiers would rather talk about their nerd love for anime and Pokemon for 10 mins with the customers they are ringing up with a line waiting.

Not true. Depends on the theater, but many of them offer refunds or complimentary tickets if you complain.

Everything I've read about this game is just straight horrible; avoiding this game. And that guy should just buy a new copy off Amazon and request a return and return the opened copy; keeping the new copy and return that back to Gamestop if not sell it as brand new; it'll net him more money than the $30 max credit they'll give on new released titles.

@sora16perfect: He could get a fine probably, but yeah doubt that's jail worthy unless he's got prior convictions or under probation.
