Then KZ2 should be at the top. Unfortunately though sales are based just as much on the name of the game, and hype. Which is why halo wars will win. The title halo already guarantees it

Killzone 2 came out in FEB 27th, March is practically Killzone's first moth so No, it wont dissapear from the top ten just like that :?

This thread is about NDP. That is North American sales, Japan is irrelevant to this thread.

Ah, I see. In that case, 360's install base will probably give them the edge for RE5 sales.

Doubt it, Halo wars will sell itself and lots of 360s on brand name alone despite the actual quality (not saying its good or bad because I havent and wont play it ever), Killzone on the other hand is a masterpiece but the name probably doesnt ring a bell to the casual crowd

Be LUCKY to be in the top 10? I know you hate the thought of Killzone 2 selling well... and I know you've said before that "in four months Killzone 2's multiplayer will be a ghost town" but seriously, Killzone 2 is already almost at a million. Tell me how often games sell 1,000,000 in one month, let alone in less than two weeks.

When was the last time we saw a Ps3 game at the top... Mgs4? I know its gonna be a tough one with RE5, Mad world, HAWX, Halo wars etc but it'd be really nice to see killzone 2 in the top spot

Probably will be Mario Kart. I read today that Mario Kart Wii has now outsold all Gran Turismo games. And GT is huge......really really really huge. So that's quite an achievement.

Yeah, MGS4. PS3 games actually do sell fine but it has a much smaller install base in NA than Wii60. So we'll rarely see PS3 games take the top spot.

decent advertisement will have some impact yes, the installbase is still 6 millions behind unfortunately, its not impossible but the numbers are there

The top ten will include:

  • Killzone 2
  • Halo Wars
  • Resident Evil 5
  • Pokemon Platinum
  • Mad World
  • GTA: China Town Wars (Possibly)
  • And Some others

I'd give the top sells to either RE5 or HW.

not surprising considering how badly the PS3 outnumbers the 360 there. I think Resident Evil 5, then Halo Wars, and then KZ2 in terms of major sales
