Is it just me or is Mario easier on the eyes, in terms of lighting and smoothness?

Just throwing this out there, but what is up with the hair in Heavenly Sword?  It looks like crap.

I agree with you...Heavenl Sword has a lot of bloom effects, Mario is simplistic and easy to the eye:)fanboy-buster

They both look really good in there own way. I don't think either looks worse to be honest. They just have different styles.

Wow, Heavenly Sword graphics does suck honestly. Congrat to the Nintendo Wii for having their first upcoming game that is graphically superior to a upcoming Sony PS3 game. There's no use though comparing Wii to the graphical jaggernauts that is the Microsoft PC or Microsoft Xbox360.

Checking Google... I find a whole bunch of cool concept art that doesn't matter.

Checking IGN... those are indeed the latest images.

Though, they're still certainly not the best.

EDIT:: Not video I was looking for.  That one person has it .gif'd in his signature, though.  I can't find it.

They both look great even though they are both different in style and art direction. And i agree with you, SMG is easier on the eyes, maybe because the camera is more panned out,' though the roundness in SMG is really nice.Pangster007

Plus you took pics from there build that was less than 35% done. Good job. I could go compare say HL2 looks better than halo3 right now. But its still in alpha stages. Atleast post good pictures and not the worst ones possible.Killfox
