Paper Mario was never supposed to be a remake, as far as I knew.The_RedLionIndeed. It has been confirmed as a new game for a while.
From that I can tell Paper Mario is going to look crazy in 3D. (the good crazy)SaltyMeatballsYeah, it's going to look super crisp.

Just waiting to preorder it. It's not coming to the U.S. until next year unless Nintendo changes their ways with releasing their handhelds. All the DS's came out in Japan in the Fall and then in the Spring the following year.
blackace
Actually the DS came out in the US first

Yup. The original DS launched in North America on November 21 [2004], and then in Japan on December 2.

When the 3DS will arrive in the U.S. will depend on how well the DS models are selling. It is more likely that the 3DS will arrive first in Japan due to declining DS sales unlike in the West.
Well that's a horrible video but I saw glimps of the two games.
Even though they are previews would that make 5 Official Launch Titles for the 3DS? (Kid Icarus, Metal Gear, Resident Evil, Paper Mario, Mario Kart?)

Are they new games ot just 3d versions of old games? I'd be a little annoyed if they started shipping old games now without even changing them... like the laszimans rehash.[QUOTE="Jipset"]Are they new games ot just 3d versions of old games? Nintendo revealed a new trailer of 3DS, which revealed several NES and SNES cIassics which will be coming to 3DS with 3D effects, including:

They're new, of course. Nintendo doesn't just add the latest technical feature to last-gen games and release them as current-gen games.
Not until a few years have passed, anyway.
