Um... If Cows and lems try to declare ownage or FLOP when this game gets like 4 or 5 something, they have sunk to a new low.  There was no official "Mario Party 8 hype thread", and the only people who have really hyped this are a few nintendo fan boys here and there. 

SW has become flop happy.  I think we should try to reserve flop ownage for real flops and that were actually hyped.

Oh please the gameplay is exatly the same, and the storeis are the same at the roots, in fact go look at the sites that have the rules for every RPG game and you'll see they all follow the same basic story 

Everyone knows that Mario Party is a series of mini games with different ways to go though them.

It sells OK, and is a nice game for younger kids in particular. I  plan on picking up because of my kids (they loved  3,5, and 7) and my wife and I will play it with them from time to time.

I am looking forward to MP3 a hell of alot more of course.

There are different battle systems thoughout the series. Not all FF games are turn based. And the stories are different from each other.

I believe you're wrong. Well, as far as I know anyway, the score predictions ranged everywhere from below 6 to low AA. I think the consensus was that this could be the first A Mario Party game in a long time.
