[QUOTE="Sgt_Crow"]This is getting hilarious, these kind of topics.That would be Tetris. tetris was a revolutionary game . it was huge everyone had to have it . tetirs>metalgear
What's next, someone who asks what game is better between Tetris and Metal Gear Solid?LINKloco
Mario, just because it defines platformers for over a decade now.. It was one of the first and has always been a solid platformer..
Not Halo, it was released during the time FPS's were already very popular with numerous AAA's.. It did nothing new other then actually be an ok shooter on the console, instead of the pieces of crap FPS's we saw on consoles for the most part.. IN all honesty if anything Perfect Dark and Golden Eye did more for the console FPS's then Halo.. Halo was just ultra popular because they actually had multiplayer online. Its an alright game imo, but seriouslly really can't be compared to Mario who defined platformers..
Honestly you can't havea direct comparison, but I will say this.. When you looking for a platformer few match up to Mario, which really has defined it for over a decade as stated earlier.. But when your looking for a FPS you are hit with a endless sea of great ones that are arguably at least equal if not better then Halo.. And this is even when you did not find the majority of the Halo series over rated..
try finding a game thats even close to mario galxy deadmeat59
Halo3
COD4
Gears
Crysis
Uncharted
R&C
MGS 4
Oh never mind all those look to good.
[QUOTE="whocares4peace"]Pong or Devil May Cry?Tylendal
That's not even a question. Pong was the second video-game ever made, and the first to reach the mass market. (The first game was a little known game that was sort of like a four player Asteroids)
You are thinking of computer space. It was only the 2nd the first was Galaxy Game.

Because you know, Xbox live existed when Halo came out...Not Halo, it was released during the time FPS's were already very popular with numerous AAA's..
