Bad choice imo, I like Mark Wahlberg, but I don't think he really fits the part. I'm kind of dissapointed. =\Eddie-Vedder
I Agree!
I just watched Shooter and it was pretty good. Max Payne the movie? We'll see. Marky Mark proven he's a good actor.
They should of gotten the Governator,
Arnold Scharzenegger

Maybe this is just the geek in me, but your sig doesn't make much sense to me. Why declare int's that are static when you can just do the math in the double line? Plus, you didn't typecast them over properly for most languages from an int to a double(which is why your math comes out to 0.0 instead of the .8 that it should, since a fraction of an int rounds down).sazreal
Because I like doing things the hard way and with bad programming practices. I will change it now .

Yeah, sorry man, I just couldn't figure out if you were actually trying to prove that that algo was how"fanboy logic" works or if it was legit. It was actually a pretty good mock of fanboy logicIMO. Just what is the sig for anyways, is it a game score or something?
Wahlberg will make a great Max Payne. Did you ever see The Big Hit? That movie proved that Wahlberg can be a great action star. I just hope he can play the dark side of Max Payne well.MadExponent
Heh, that's the exact same thing that popped into my head when I saw this thread as well.
I think Michael C. Hall from Dexter would make an excellent Max Payne...His voice narration would just be perfect!

The Big Hit was awsome, Lou Diamond Phillips was great in it also.
i always thought johnny knoxville always had the max payne face.spoogeyman
All the director needs to do is write in a bunch of parts where he would get hit in the nads, that would be an awesome Max Payne movie:lol:.

nah. tom cruise went crazy and lost all credibility. mark walberg is a good choice. matt damon would have been better (the departed anyone?).
What now? There's a Max Payne movie? Mark Wahlberg is Max Payne? That could work, perhaps... Doesn't seem like a terribly misguided choice, and Matt Damon is Bourne so I guess anything is possible.
But whether the movie ends up good or not has more to do with the director and writer I'd say. I'm gonna go Google these people.
IMDB can't find this Beau Thorne guy. Or Google. Who the hell is he?
That's like casting Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man........oh wait. :(Ibacai
Actually I thought that Downey is a perfect choice for Tony Stark. An arrogant, womanizing, alcoholic prick Only thing that Isn't right is that should he really get paid when he doesn't really have to do any acting?

Accually they arent all that bad. No worse than whats normally on and its something that we gamers recognize and know. So I say keep bringing out game related movies...
I walked into the thread not knowing what to type. I couldn't help but wonder why I came in here in the first place. Yet that was obvious, like many here I was just a moth drawn to the flame. Max Payne had been a favorite game of mine and everytime I thought about the first or second something inside of me lit up like the sky at Coney Island on the fourth of July. Then I got to thinking and finally it hit me like a... I have no anaolgy for that one...
"That is great but I would rather see more information on a third Max Payne game."

He's a better choice than Brendan Fraser, who was the original choice for the part.

I got kinda turned on when I read it. Turned on like a flashlight echoing into the dark silence of a gaping hole growing at my heels, slowly sucking me into its cold, empty grasp.
Whoa. I'm good at this. Good like...pizza. ..I lost it. :(
