They are arguably (I repeat, arguably, if you look up the average scores) one of the best games of the generation yet no one talks about them. May I ask why?

don't like racing games Marvel ultimate alliance was a good game, but i hated the fact that it was a marvel game, so many awesome characters to choose from yet you never really feel like you're playing spiderman, thor ot anyone else, it felt more like they created 4 character "classes" and then they stretched it to fit on 30+ charactersThey are arguably (I repeat, arguably, if you look up the average scores) one of the best games of the generation yet no one talks about them. MUA--Because it's licensed. And Capcom wasn't the dev behind it.
PGR 3/4--When you bring these games up, people here always complain that it's not as good as Forza or Gran Turismo.
It is arcadey, but in my opinion it's no trash. It's actually very enjoyable. When I first played it, I thought it's nothing special, but now I trully regard it as one of the best X360 exclusives.PGR is arcadey trash.

Much like on rail shooters, dungeon crawlers are the kind of game you HAVE to play with a friend. I couldn't play Marvel Ultimate Alliance or Umbrella Chronicles by myself for more than 20 minutes but, once I played them with a friend, they became amazing.MUA is blah. I don't understand how so many liked that game. It's a really crappy dungeon crawler.

MUA was like a cheap thrown together version of xmen legends with different character skins
well let me correct myself. a cheap thrown together version of xmen legends 2. the first one was good, the second one took away all the non action parts (like a story or character development) and just wasn't as good
PGR4 is one of my favourite games this gen. Im not sure why people dont talk much about them, maybe its because americans generally suck at racing games (sorry about the generalisation)-DrRobotnik-Yep, that's exactly how I feel about PGR4.

The thing about racers is they need to have copious amounts of customization and tuning to be played online without having the same cars played by everyone in every single race you drive in. PGR does not have that so it suffers heavily from dominant car syndrome. GT4 and Forza 2 are like car RPGs, which is why they are so popular. Tons of unlockables, tons of custimization, tons of cars, tons of tuning options for those cars. They are just so much more everything than PGR, which is why I don't bother playing it when there are much better alternatives out.
PGR has graphics over Forza 2, but I'm sure Forza 3 and DEFINITELY GT5 will change that.
Wow, I guess I am in the minority for UA. I thought it was an absolutely awesome game, so much that after I bought the regular edition I had my girlfriend buy me the gold edition (due to the bugs that I heard from just DLing the DLC) to get the other characters. Played through the game so many times, have all but one achievements, all my characters are in the high 80s, and I just thought that it was a great game, and that it was *gasp* better than Legends.
