I'm pretty hyped for this game, SW. Are you? Will you be getting the collectors edition? Sorry I can't link, posting from mobile.

I'm very hyped for this game, can't wait. I'll be getting the Collector's Edition myself, gotta have those sweet statues.

I thought you were a hardcore fighting game fan knowledgeable about the genre since the old school days?

@charizard1605: Not much on Marvel vs Capcom. Although ive played the first, second, and the crazy Wii one. Im a Smash, Tekken, and Street Fighter fan.

Xmen vs Street Fighter was a better cross Fighter.

The chances of the X-Men, Spiderman, Deadpool and anyone else not in the MCU is getting lower.

Spidey is now part of the MCU, so he'll get in no matter what. Sony and Disney are buddies now when it comes to the Spider-Man films which is why he was in Civil War and in his own movie in the MCU that is coming out this year.

So, he's in no danger of missing the roster.

As for the X-Men and Fantastic Four(which includes Dr. Doom) its much more iffy given Fox and Disney are not really playing nice with one another.

@caryslan2: Yeah, I keep forgetting about Tom Holland's Spider-Man, so it's my bad. But I'm still a bit concerned about it for some odd reason.

If I get it I'll get it on the definitive console version on the Scorpio but I'll wait and see what characters are there and what Capcom does with DLC.

I'm gonna wait for the super duper extreme ultimate edition.

I SWEAR IF THEY PUT VIRGIL IN THIS I AM GOING TO **** RAGE SO HARD! Virgil is the most overpowered fighting game character of all time and their response was **** you he is supposed to be overpowered? Really capcom? really? Didn't even nerf him one bit?

I got so mad losing over and over to Virgil I threw my controller at the TV and I am still waiting for Capcom to reimburse me. If they did not make Virgil so over powered it would not have happened. I wrote them a letter but get BS replies. I want my money, and I want Virgil out of this game or I am boycotting this one too. Who else can not stand Virgil?

doom and his infinite foot dive combo was much more OP to me.

I'll pass. I already pre-order Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition on PS4 and it's the only fighting game I'm more hype then Marvel vs Capcom Infinite despite I'm a hardcore fighting gamer to that. Infinite however, I'll buy when I see Crapcom releases whatever the ultimate, ultimate edition that is.

These new announcements have tanked my hype lol. It's going to need a more diverse cast (NOT DLC) and, like, facial animations that aren't from 1995.

Story looks pretty epic and X looks like he's the main Protagonist in this story.

Gonna try to Preorder that sick special edition!

(The DLC is likely the Xmen characters)

Did enjoy the original and I heard this one has a proper story mode for each player? Hopefully, I'm not remembering that wrong.
