Yea the last boss was lacking compared the last boss in the first title. But to honest I didn't except a last boss in Mass Effect 2 because of the direction of the story. I still didn't find as bad as the last boss in Gears 2 though I can't even call that a boss fight.

It was going to be a ship...if you have the collector's edition it has a picture of what it was suppose to look like when it was done. It would've ended up looking more like a typical reaper ship.

Saren was an amazing final boss. The human Reaper was kinda lame all you had to do was stay in cover and you win. Pretty much, with a few Collectors popping up around you. I just used the "nuke launcher" and the human reaper was down to half its health.
The game was great from start to finish. The boss at the end was amazing to look at but it was no big deal to kill. I did however die plenty of times throughout the game.

How am I a cow for mentioning Demon Souls that game is legitimately hard.
The final boss was not what I expected at all it was almost on par with the Gears of war 2 boss.

You can't be serious.... I honestly had no problems when fighting him Maybe Gears 2 is a bit extreme.I'm not saying he's an especially challenging boss, but the only way to lose to the Gears 2 boss is to literally not shoot at him at all. It's not even in the same ballpark.

I'm not going to lie. I love Mass effect 2 to death and would defend it to death if someone said something ignorant about it.(Proof here.) But I have to admit. The last boss was stupid. Not of how collectors made and what it ment.( How it's made is pretty horrifying.) But because it's too easily recognized with other boss or characters.( the terminator.) I mean what the heck were they thinking designing it like that? Human reaper= not bad Human reaper looking like many other bosses and the terminator=*Face Palm.

Get barrier and max your character only skills and armor skills first. oh okay barrier :3 i was using first the fortification and then geth thingy buh oky x) I'm playing it on insane with a infiltrator. It can be hard and broken at time.(Team mate get out of cover when hit. Piss me off.) My extra ability is inferno grenade. I'm really surprises in how effective and ineffective it is. You get grenades like in ME1 but unlike ME1 you can only throw the grenades in a curve. It explodes and causes fire splash damage but you can easily miss your target because of the curve but when it hits it burns everything. It's great for crowd control( which is the infiltrators major week point.) And Don't get me stated on Adepts. Their the god class of this game. I went through the game on hardcore and I was having and easy time with it. Mostly because I keep slapping people with singularity.( That Matriarch on Illium is far wiser than you think.) With max warp, max Singularity, slam and the freeze heavy weapon everything becomes cake as an adept. I wonder why people have a hard time with that class?

lol, if you were following the story, you would know why it looked human [spoiler] thats why the collectors were kidnapping colonies, they had the turned into goo so they can get the genetics from them, and they were built in the form of whatever genetic traits were taken...........in this case, human colonists [/spoiler] on topic, i thought the final boss fight was lame when [spoiler] you had to shoot the pipes, and then it fell because i thought it was the end [/spoiler] but when i had to fight at the end = awesome!!
I think bosses in both games were lackluster. Ganon Saren and Crazy Bones. GeoW2's was practically an interactive cut scene, the other two had a mild challenge factor. Pity in ME2 you just sit behind cover shooting.
